Mzvee began her solo career in January 2014 with her debut single 'Borkor Borkor,' which was released in January 2014. She continued with hit single "Natural Girl" and went on to win the 'Unsung Artiste Award' at the 2014 Ghana Music Awards. Her debut album was released in November 2014 and features collaborations with several award-winning artists such as Stonebwoy, VIP, Shatta Wale, Richie Mensah, M.anifest, and Didier Awadi.

MzVee released Verified, her second album after the success of her award-winning debut album, in November 2015. The album has received seven awards at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards, including 'Album of the Year' and 'Record of the Year' for the single 'Abofra,' which features Efya.' DaaVee's highly awaited third album was released in May 2017.

MzVee took a two-year break from the music industry from 2017 to 2019. In an interview with TV3 on Monday, January 5, 2020, she revealed that her motivation for leaving the music business was a massive depression she was going through. This has denied pregnancy rumors that some people believe was the reason for her absence from the Music Industry. MzVee found support from her friend Efya, who continued to support and encourage her until she beat depression. She has confirmed that as of 2020 she will be back to music and will debut "Sheriff," a new track she has written.

MzVee's other thing that she revealed when she returned from her depression-induced hiatus from music was that she would debut two albums. However, she would not release the two albums as she had expected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She rather managed to debut one album dubbed invincible. Sarkodie, Mugeez, Efya, Medikal, Kelvyn Boy, Kojo Funds, as well as Falz and Navy Kenzoo were included in the album, which was released on December 11, 2020. She partnered with Trace TV in March 2021 to debut her music video for her song 'You Alone' in March 2021.

MzVee released her fifth album, titled 10 Thirty, based on her 10th year as a singer and to celebrate her 30th anniversary. The ten-tracked album Ten Thirty featured Nigerian musicians, Bella Shmurda, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, and Ghanaian musicians Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata.
