He moved to England in 2001 to complete a degree in civil engineering at Imperial College London. "Photography is about capturing things that others may have missed," Osmann said on FabWeb. It's a way to connect, as well as a way to bring images that I hold in my mind to the forefront.
From influencer marketing platform Klear, Osmann is a top travel influencer with a 96 percent influencer score. Osmann's "Follow Me" project, which began in Barcelona, Spain, in 2011, when his then-girlfriend, Natalia Zakharova, became irritable every time he stopped to photograph people. Nataly's impatience spawned what has since become a social media phenomenon, according to Osmann. On his Instagram account, the Osman has over 4.1 million followers. All #Followmeto photos were shot on an iPhone, but Osmann started using a DSLR camera to get a wider field of view.
Osmann and Zakharova married on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Both the pair married in Moscow and the second at Murad's birthplace in Dagestan. The photographer caught moments from their wedding to include in the "Follow Me" collection.
