Career
Mugdha Chaphekar first appeared in the Bollywood film Aazmayish when she was eight years old. Shelly appeared in the television series Junior G later in 2001. Chaphekar made her television debut as an adult artist with the 2006 film Kya Mujhse Dosti Karoge.
Chaphekar played Princess Sanyogita in Star Plus' epic historical series Dharti Ka Veer Chauhan. This was followed by roles in Dharam Veer and Mere Ghar Aayi Pari.
