Mr. Capone-E, Fahd Azam (born April 27, 1976), also known as Mr. Capone-E, is a Pakistani-American rapper and record executive.

Early life

Mr Capone E was born in Pakistan to an ethnic Hazara family. At an early age, he and his family immigrated to West Covina. He grew up around gangs and became a Sureo. He was detained at the age of 18, and when he was serving time, he decided he wanted to pursue a career in Hip Hop.

Music career

Mr. Capone E & The Southsiders, Mr. Capone-E's debut solo album in 2000, was released independently by his artist Hi Power. This album gained a lot of buzz and attracted the attention of Thump Records. In 2001, he signed a three-year distribution contract and unleashed his next album Last Man Standing. Mr Capone E's third album Dedicated To The Oldies, which he claims to have sold over one million albums in 2003 through swap meets and discotecas.

He went on to publish Always and Forever in 2003, which featured Nate Dogg's single "I Like It." In addition, the album featured guest appearances from Kokane, Mr. Criminal, and other artists from his label Hi Power.

He released A Soldier's Story and Ol Skool Music Vol. 1 and Vol. 1 in 2005. 2 with Zapp.

Mr. Capone-E and Thump began to have money issues, resulting in unpaid royalties to Mr. Capone-E. Based on the number of albums he was selling per release, he was prompted to leave Thump. He left and was given all of the rights to his music under Thump.

Mr. Capone-E's seventh album, Don't Get it Twisted, appeared on SMC, Don't Get it Twisted," a hit single on the Top Heatseekers Album Chart, #25 on the Independent Album Chart, and #68 on the Billboard R&B/Rap Albums, was released.

Mr. Capone-E's eighth album, Mr. Capone-E, is dedicated to the Oldies Part II, which was signed by Koch in 2007. It reached #17 on the Top Heatseekers Albums Chart and #66 on the Billboard R&B/ Hip Hop Albums Chart, peaking at #17 on the Top Heatseekers Chart and #66 on the Billboard R&B/ Hip Hop Album.

Capone-E released his ninth album, Diary of a G, in 2009, which included the single "Light my Fire" ft. Snoop Dogg and collaborations with The Game and Glasses Malone, which reached #18 on the Billboard Rap Album Charts and #24 on the Top Heatseekers Album Charts and #24. Amir Khan, the WBA Light Welterweight boxing champion at the time, performed a ring entrance song that year.

He continued to publish albums independently over the years, releasing the album The Blue Album, Tears of a Soldier.

Mr. Capone E began performing on two albums, No Regrets, and Respect. These albums have more of a pop sound to his previous albums, featuring artists such as Migos, French Montana, Ray J, and DJ Mustard. He released the Los Angeles Times to raise funds for the albums. In 2016, the albums were first introduced in 2016.

He released an album every month in 2017. He did this because he felt that he had been not involved in music for the past few years and that he wanted to promote a lot of music to become more popular.

After releasing those 12 albums, he decided to concentrate more on his brand Hi Power and recruit more up-and-coming talent.

He made his film debut in Narco Valley on March 13, 2018.

He is also working on his autobiography Who Am I, which discusses his childhood, his family, and ethnicity, as well as his life and work.

Hi Power Records was founded in 2000, with the introduction of his debut album. Mr. Criminal, a Chicano rap superstar, was the face of the independent label's comeback.

The label was only made up of Chicano rappers in his region, but as the brand grew in fame, he signed artists like Bizzy Bone and Layzie Bone, Lil Flip, MC Eight, Bad Azz, Suga Free, and others.
