Career

Nazim made his debut in Hindi television with a little known role on Star Plus's fantasy-based series Shaurya Aur Suhani, which was created by Sphere Origins in 2009 and then signed a verletzt segment of Sony Entertainment Television's crime thriller CID in 2010.

His breakthrough came when he bagged his first lead role as Ahem Modi for six years (2010–16) in Star Plus's one of the most famous soap operas, Saath Nibhaana opposite Devoleena Bhattacharjee. With the horror film Plot No. 1, he also debuted in Bollywood in 2015. 666. He was also a contestant in the Box Cricket League.

Nazim left Saath Nibhaana Saathiya in May 2016 because he didn't want to play a maternal grandfather on film. However, he returned to the show in August 2016 as the show's legitimate twin brother, Jaggi Modi, and stayed on it until it was taken off in July 2017. He made his way into Punjabi cinema in the Punjabi film Big Daddy (2017).

In August 2018, Nazim reteamed with Bhattacharjee in an episode of &TV's Lahq. He played Gumaan Singh Rajvanshi in Colors TV's highly entertaining drama series Udaan Sapnon Ki as Gumaan Singh Rajvanshi just days after his work came to an end next month. In another episode of Laal Ishq, he appeared opposite Sreejita De.

Nazim also appeared on Colors TV's Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop as the vengeful Samru Singh Vaghela. In July 2019, he appeared on Bahu Begum's love-triangle as the vain and evil Asgar Akhtar Mirza. He resigned from the show in November 2019 amicably.

The first 31 episodes of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2—Saathiya's second season—Nazim reprised his role as Ahem and Jaggi Modi from October to November 2020, reuniting with Bhattacharjee.

Since August 20,21, Nazim has been playing the main male lead role in Star Bharat's Tera Mera Saath Rahe's Saksham Modi.
