Early life

Misty Anne Upham was born in Kalispell, Montana, on July 6, 1982, and raised in Auburn, Washington. She was a member of the Blackfeet Nation and a native of the United States. She was reportedly sexually assaulted, raped, first as an infant and then as an up-and-coming actress in Hollywood by an executive at The Weinstein Company. Both Upham and family members reported that she suffered from depression and the physical after effects of these injuries.
