Miranda Jane Richardson (born 3 March 1958) is an English actress and comedian.

Early life
Richardson was born in Southport, Lancashire, and he was a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Organisers. "A cinema about 50 yards from my house." Career
Richardson began studying at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she studied with Daniel Day-Lewis and Jenny Seagrove, who performed in Cinderella and Lord Arthur Savile's Crime at the Southport Dramatic Club, beginning with juvenile performances.
Richardson began as an assistant stage manager at the Manchester Library Theatre in 1979, followed by a number of appearances in repertory theatre. In 1981, Sophie's debut on the Queen's Theatre was in Moving at the Queen's Theatre.
