Early life
In 1985, Minisha Lamba was born into a Punjabi Sikh family and moved to Kawel Lamba and Manju Lamba in New Delhi.
She enrolled at Chettinad Vidyashram School, Chennai, for a year and then transferred to Army Public School in Srinagar, where she completed her education. (Hons.) She majored in English (Hons.) From Miranda House, University of Delhi.
Personal life
On July 6, Lamba married Ryan Tham, the restaurateur, owner of Juhu's "Trilogy," and cousin to actress Pooja Bedi. In August 2020, the divorce case would be finalized. In July 2021, she revealed her friendship with businessman Akash Malik public.
Career
Lamba began modeling for ad campaigns such as LG, Sony, Cadbury, Hajmola, Airtel, Sunsilk, etc., while studying at Delhi University. She was also a part of Femina's Generation "W" ad. Shoojit Sircar, a British director who directed her to appear in his film Yahaan (2005), approached her during an ad shoot for Cadbury. While still attending Miranda House College, she began filming for Yahaan. She went on to appear in films including Corporate, Rocky: The Rebel, Anthony Kaun Hai, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Anamika, Shaurya, and Dus Kahaniyaan are all Ltd.
In 2008, she appeared in Bachna Ae Haseeno, her highest success so far, which was produced by Yash Raj Films. She was recognised for her role in Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap last year. Well Done Abba (2010), her next big role was in the critically acclaimed filmmaker Shyam Benegal's film Well Done Abba (2010). The National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues was given to Muskaan Ali in honor of his contribution. She appeared in Bigg Boss 8 on Colors TV in 2014.
