Mimi Page Career

Life and career

Mimi Page was born in Los Angeles on February 2, 1987. Cheryl Clark, a "triple threat" dancer who appeared and appeared in acclaimed Broadway shows Chicago, A Chorus Line, and Pippin, was raised by her mother. Page accompanied her mother on many international tours from age 2 to 5. "We pretty much lived as nomads in hotels and on the tour bus," Page recalls from her youth. I'd rehearse her lines with her, which helped me learn how to read. A lot of my creativity can be traced back to my childhood, as I was always surrounded by music and dancing." Page was then relocated to a Las Vegas suburb to start grade school and create a stable living environment. She began playing on the piano at the age of 5. Page returned to Los Angeles at the age of 11. At 16, she moved to Alexander Hamilton Music Academy to continue her piano lessons. She continued to compose instrumental music but she refused to perform due to her shyness. When discovering the school's Electronic Music program, Page changed her artistic focus dramatically. Page began recording and producing her own original music after learning to digitally record and manipulate her vocals in class. Page self-published a collection of the songs performed in her class during her senior year of high school and publicly posted them on Myspace. Page continued her studies in Composition and Electronic Music at the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2006. She left the University in 2007 and enrolled at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood to study recording engineering. "I wanted to get away from classical music's formal structure and learn more about recording techniques," Page says of the change of research. When you're an up-and-coming musician trying to afford studio time, it's impossible to have my own studio and produce my own albums. During this period, Page continued to post original songs on Myspace, YouTube, and Facebook, which were all recorded and produced in her studio apartment.

After submitting her demos to multiple radio stations, Page gained airplay on Sirius/XM Chill and Soma FM Lush with several of her unreleased songs. A Lullaby for the Lonely's first EP, "New" and "Come What May," was self-published by the May 2010 Page on CD Baby (which also included singles "New" and "Come What May"). "Gravity" and "This Fire" were two additional singles released in August. In an episode that launched the song to No. 1, MTV's The Real World licensed "This Fire." Apple and No. 11 are the most popular sites on iTunes. Amazon.com's electronic charts are ranked No. 1 on Amazon.com's electronic charts. Simplify, a bass music record label, then approached the page. Off the back of "A Lullaby For The Lonely" and given two options: to be remixed solely by the label's top designers; or host a remix competition that welcomes both established and novice producers. For a limited period, Page decided to host the remix competition and made her vocal stems downloadable to the public. As a result, several EDM Blogs promoted the competition, and hundreds of entries were received. Both Page and the company selected the top 12 and the label's album "Harmonious Heartbeats" was released on June 8, 2011. Following the album's debut, Page continued to collaborate on original material with many of the remixers on "Harmonious Heartbeats." On December 1, 2011, Gonzo Multimedia re-released "This Fire" on a new EP to promote the album. Breathe Me In was released on Gonzo Multimedia's latest imprint Hunter Records on February 14, 2012. The album has received raves in the music blogosphere. Breathe Me In is described as "a potent combination of sultry down tempo numbers, emotional pop-tronica, and thought-provoking ballads," Stereo Subversion magazine says. Her vocals pull you in like a tractor beam, and the musical variety is downright dizzying." "Page's haunting, yet sensual vocals keep you glued to every song you hear," the Indie Times says. "The Untz" aspires to be the best-ranked woman on the electronic music blog, according to her. "Top 15 Producers with Pipes" is the 2nd on their list of "Top 15 Producers with Pipes."

Lorin Ashton (Bassnectar) was spotted by a remix of "A Bad Place" by dubstep producer Minnesota and was included in his "Amorphous Music Mixtape Volume 7" series. Valiant Valiant debuted at No. 1 in the world of television. On the Billboard Top 200 charts, 34 positions number 34. Mimi Page is ranked number three on their list of "Top ten Female EDM Artists", "Most people associate Mimi Page with her illustrious collection of vocal appearances for musicians such as Seven Lions, Bassnectar, and Kezwik, but there's more to the young singer than meets the eye." Or is it ear in this situation? The ever-evolving musician has recorded an album and several EPs outside of the confines of traditional dance music, resulting in a slew of dreamy instrumentations and disarmingly beautiful melodies."

Page's second studio album, The Ethereal Blues, was released on November 13, 2015, she self-produced and released on her own label. It was ranked No. 1 in the blog "Heartache for Hard Work". On their annual list of the best albums of 2015, three of the three artists are described as "orchestral sweeps, trip-hop hits, and songs that refer to a deep well of sadness but not weigh down." The process is dialectical: endlessly inspiring, then haunting."
