Kanye West has released a statement in the music industry, demanding that the fact that he has changed his name to Ye be acknowledged. For years, West has used Ye as a nickname, referring to Kanye as his "slave name" and claiming incorrectly that Ye is the most commonly used word in the Bible. In October 2021, months after his ex-wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, he took the initiative to have his first name changed to Ye.

Kanye West's staff reports that about $1.2 million worth of his Yeezy GAP clothing – about 60,000 pieces of clothing – has vanished from his warehouse. Milo Yiannopoulos, the team's chief of staff, discovered a fan account that was advertising a sale in Los Angeles on Friday, where slews of Yeezy GAP clothing could be purchased for $20 apiece. Detectives and cops were dispatched to the auction, where the sellers were reassured that the clothing had been purchased legitimately by the owners.

Patrick Krason resigned in two letters - one sent to the Federal Election Commission on Monday and the other sent to his long boss. Both leaked letters came a week after West announced that his Oval Office aspirations were alive and well by deploying Milo Yiannopoulos as his lead strategist. Almost immediately, YE2024's new head of political operations instituted a slew of personnel changes, including the immediate removal of the rapper's ethnic right-hand man Nick Fuentes and political advisor Ali Alexander. Despite their far-right and fringe views often being polarizing, both prominent figures in Kanye's 2020 squad remained triumphant, but ultimately failed to give the 44-year-old rapper a win. Krason, who wrote Monday that he had been warned he was going to be fired but was resigning before the fact, was also on the chopping block. Perhaps more interesting, though, were some of the consultant's sensational claims in the two letters, both of which appeared to accuse Yiannopoulos of fraud.
