He is best known for his portrayal of Alex Standall in the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why and Drew Holt's NBC drama series Parenthood.

Simon 2018 has appeared in the films Rails & Ties (2006), The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015), Nerve (2016), and Love, Simon (2018).

Early life

The Heizer's mother is a nurse, and he has an older sister. Heizer appeared in a number of community theater productions in Lexington, Kentucky, as a youth. When he was ten years old, his family migrated to Los Angeles to support his acting career full time.

Before the series's end in 2015, Heizer portrayed Drew.
