Mike Kellin (born Myron Kellin, 1922 – August 26, 1983) was an American actor.
Early life
Kellin was born in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Sophia and Samuel Kellin, Russian-Jewish immigrants. Shirley Ann Kellin, his younger sister, was born on August 14, 1927, and died in the 1944 Hartford circus fire. He attended Boston University and Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He served with the Navy as a lieutenant commander during WWII, and after the war, he studied acting and playwriting at the Yale School of Drama.
Personal life and death
In 1952, Kellin married Nina Caiserman. Before Nina's death in 1963, the couple adopted a daughter. Kellin married actress Sally Moffat, the niece of actress Sylvia Field, in 1966. Kellin was a member of the Fortune Society, a prisoners' rights group. He died of lung cancer in Nyack, New York, at the age of 61. His burial took place at Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery in Wethersfield, Connecticut.
Career
Kellin made his Broadway debut in 1949 in At War with the Army and reprised his role in the 1950 film version starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. He appeared in many 50 plays and received an Obie Award for his performances in American Buffalo, as well as a Tony nomination in 1956 for his participation in the musical Pipe Dream.

Kellin appeared in both the film version of The Wackest Ship in the Army (1960) and the 1965-1966 television series based on the film in the same role.
Kellin appeared in an episode on Lost in Space titled "The Deadly Games of Gamma 6," as Myko. In “Moonstone,” a revived outlaw shielding his injured brother, he appeared in “Chad Timpson” (S12E13) on the television Western film Gunsmoke later in 1966. He appeared in an episode on The Twilight Zone titled "The Thirty Fathom Grave" and as a Southerner in The Alfred Hitchcock Hour's "Night Of The Owl."
