Where are the original stars of YouTube now?

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 15, 2023
Since its inception in 2005, YouTube has been a staple of modern culture, with scores of early adopters able to carve out a niche for themselves. Everyday people became stars by delivering original content from entertaining comedy skits to step-by-step makeup tutorials. However, the website is not without its dark side, which is supposed to be revealed in the forthcoming launch The YouTube Effect. The 'eye-opening documentary' is expected to take a 'troubling look' at the video sharing platform and the way it'changed how we experience the world.' And it is true that some of YouTube's most popular early celebrities had varied lives. There were others who were able to bring multi-million dollar company empires and even success in the music industry when they were able to capitalize on their springboards. However, there were others whose fame came at a price after being plagued with depression, bullying, and accusations of bigotry. FEMAIL has shared what happened to some of America's top YouTube stars as viewers prepare to tune into the tell-all series.
