Their outfit choices and beauty showcases were all highly awaited, with Zendaya making news in Versace Couture and archival Prada just hours earlier, only to then unveil a rosette-covered Valentino number. The 26-year-old "Euphoria" actress consults with Image Architect Law Roach on all her meticulously considered outfits, presenting an aesthetic with a modern and avant-garde. Meanwhile, Ortega, 20, who made a name for herself on "Wednesday," is getting out in gothic-inspired pieces from Thom Browne, Dion Lee, Saint Laurent, and, tonight, Atelier Versace, which was curated by her stylist Enrique Melendez.

Michelle Yeoh has officially nominated for the Oscar. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed the 2023 awards on Monday, and the 60-year-old Malaysian-born actor is up for best actor in a leading role. Yeoh is up against Cate Blanchett, Ana de Armas, Andrea Riseborough, and Michelle Williams in her class. In A24's "Everywhere All At Once," Yeoh made history by naming Evelyn Wang, a dimension-hopping, immigrant, mother, and laundromat owner. Though past winners, including 1936 actor Merle Oberon, and contemporaneous names such as Salma Hayek, Cher, and Natalie Portman, have links to Asian roots (Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Armenia, and Israel/Russia, respectively), Yeoh is the first Asian-identifier.

On Tuesday, Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced the nominations on Tuesday, the 24th Jan., and the films chosen represent the best of a jam-packed year of movies. Brendan Fraser, Michelle Yeoh, Colin Farrell, Angela Bassett, and others received national recognition for their performances. Several major awards for fan-favourite films, such as "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Avatar: The Way of Water," were also nominated, with both of them receiving best picture awards. Rihanna also received her first award for her song "Lift Me Up" from the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" soundtrack. With eleven nominations, "Everything Everywhere At Once." The nine for Netflix's "All Quiet on the Western Front" received the second most coveted nomination — tied for second most — and Paul Mescal's best actor nomination for his role in "Aftersun" — were among the nine nominations. "Triangle of Sadness" received three awards, while "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" received a nomination for best adapted screenplay. Ana de Armas, on the other hand, made her way into the best actress field with her appearance in "Blonde" as Marilyn Monroe.
