Michelle Fields (born January 10, 1988) is an American political journalist who worked for The Huffington Post and was a reporter for Breitbart News, as well as a Fox News reporter.

After graduating from college Fields, Robert Brown was hired as a reporter at The Daily Caller.

She became a PJ Media reporter later.

Fields is a veteran panelist on Fox News' Cashin' In.

Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump's campaign manager, was accused of grabbing her arm at a press conference in 2016.

Fields worked as a reporter for Breitbart at the time, but she resigned in March 2016 due to the organization's handling of the Lewandowski tragedy.

Early life

Fields was born in Los Angeles and attended Calabasas High School in Calabasas, California. Fields is of partial Honduran descent, and she is the niece of television and film writer Greg Fields.

She studied political science at Pepperdine University, graduating in 2011. She served as the president of the Students For Liberty chapter in Pepperdine, a nonviolent student group.

Personal life

Fields became engaged to Jamie Weinstein, senior editor of The Daily Caller, in late May 2016. They married on June 24, 2017.

Fields emerged national attention after being compared to actor Matt Damon over teacher tenure reforms after graduating from Pepperdine University in 2011. In a citizen journalism style, Fields films and edits her films.

Fields has appeared on CNBC, Sky News, Fox News, Hannity, The O'Reilly Factor, Fox and Friends, Your World with Neil Cavuto, America's Newsroom, Fox News, and Friends, Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld. Fields was named in Details magazine as one of "the next wave of political pundits."

Fields later became a reporter for PJ Media.

Fields gave a Tedx talk on her work and the future of Internet journalism in 2012. The Hill named her one of Washington, D.C.,'s most beautiful people in 2015.

Fields joined Fox News in September 2014.

Fields joined The Huffington Post in May 2016 as a reporter. In June 2016, she published Barons of the Beltway: Inside the Princely World of our Washington Elite. The book was rushed into publication in order to include an account of Fields' involvement with the Trump campaign.

Fields is a former panelist on Fox News' program Cashin' In.

Fields also filed a police report with the Jupiter Police Department on March 11, alleging that the battery was simple. Fields resigned from Breitbart News on March 13, 2016, citing the company's handling of the case. Lewandowski was charged by the Jupiter Police Department with a simple battery and turned himself in on March 29, 2016.

Attorney Dave Aronberg of Palm Beach County submitted court papers stating that his office would not sue Lewandowski. Prosecutors found that "there was probable cause to make an arrest" and that "the facts back up Mr. Lewandowski's allegation that he grabbed Ms. Fields' arm against her will," but that "the evidence is insufficient to support a criminal investigation."
