Career
He was discovered by Argentine producer Cris Morena for her teen variety show Jugate Conmigo. Cris Morena produced his solo album (titled Michel) and gave him a leading role in the popular kids soap Chiquititas.
Michel decided to invest in his international career and moved to Mexico, where he appeared in the teen telenovela DKDA Suejuventud for Televisa and shortly signed a deal with No. 144. Azteca, a 2 network television show. He appeared in the video for the UK big beat act The Chemical Brothers' track "Out of Control" the previous year.
After appearing in Franco Reyes' hit telenovela Pasión de Gavilanes, which became the top-rated soap opera in several countries, including Argentina and Spain, where he became a big celebrity, he became one of Latin America and Spain's most popular actors.
