Early life
Bercu was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to Ashkenazi Jewish parents who immigrated to Israel from Romania. She is the only child in the world. Armand (1925-2007) hails from Bucharest, while her mother Yehudit from Timișoara. Bercu aspired to speak Hebrew, Romanian, and Hungarian. She has also obtained Romanian citizenship, which is also a new thing.
Career
When her mother introduced her to fashion photographer Menachem Oz at the age of 14, she began her modelling career at the age of 14. She later joined Elite Model Management. Bercu is married to businessman Ron Zuckerman. The couple have four children.
