Michael Maguire Life

Michael L. Maguire (born February 20, 1955) is an American actor best known for his role as Enjolras in the original Broadway revival of Les Misérables.

In 1987, Tony Award recipient Terry Jones was honoured for his work in this capacity.

It also won him a Drama Desk Award and a Theatre World Award.

He was chosen to reprise his role in Les Misérables: The Dream Cast in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 1995, commemorating the musical's tenth anniversary.

His voice is baritone. Maguire was born in Newport News, Virginia, and as an adolescent, worked as a strolling troubadour in Williamsburg, Virginia, before heading to study opera at the Oberlin Conservatory and the University of Michigan.

Linda Maguire, a well-known classical and operatic singer, is one of his siblings.

He worked as a stockbroker for many years before he made his Broadway debut in 1987 with Les Misérables.

He appeared in films including L.A. Pictures, Cadillac, Go Fish, The Deep End of the Ocean, Busted, and Where The Day Takes You, as well as others in a variety of television shows. He earned a law degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles in 2008.

He now practices family law in Beverly Hills.
