Early life
He grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, and attended Hillcrest High School before attending Carleton University to study economics. He later studied drama at The Center For Actor Study in Toronto. He has lived and worked in Toronto, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. Cram lives in Los Angeles with his partner, an information architect. Bruce Cram, Michael Cram's younger brother who works as a real estate agent and lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.
