MG Ramachandran Life

M. G. R. R. Ramachachandran (17 January 1917 – December 1987), an Indian actor, filmmaker, and politician who served as Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister from 1977 to 1987.

He is regarded as one of Tamil cinema's most influential actors.

As he was popular with the masses, he was often referred to as "Makkal Thilagam" (People's King).

Ramachandran and his elder brother, M. G. Chakrapani, formed a drama troupe to help their families. He was a philanthropist and a humanitarian icon in his youth.

MGR was influenced by Gandhian ideals and joined the Indian National Congress.

He made his film debut in the 1936 film Sathi Leelavathi in a supporting role after a few years of acting in plays.

He performed lead roles and dominated Tamil cinema until the late 1940s.

He joined the C. N. Annadurai-led Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party quickly and climbed through the ranks, using his celebrity as a film actor to establish a large political base.

He left the DMK three years after Annadurai's death in 1972, and the All India Anna Dravida Kazhagam was led by Karunanidhi, MGR's then acquaintance and now rival, to form his own party.

He guided an AIADMK-led coalition to victory in the 1977 election, defeating the DMK in the process.

He became the first film actor to become a Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Except for a six-month break in 1980, when his government was overthrown by the Union government, he served as the prime minister until his death in 1987, leading to two more electoral victories in 1980 and 1984.

M.G.R.'s first visit to Sinnappa Devar was on his first visit to see M.G.R. He received a M.G.R. after the shooting incident, and he paid the hospital. M.G.R.R. has a long way to go. The upcoming film of the's new one.' M.G.R. and I was released from the hospital and finished with Arasakattalai. Actor in Devar's film Vivasaayee against doctors' direction. M.G.R. - M.G.R. - Due to the hospitalization, M.G.R. In the film Kaaran, the actor's speaking parts were reduced. M.G.R. was the only film in which M.G.R. appeared. He was visited by a steady stream of commoners and experts of film industry, polity, and bureaucracy. He ran for the Madras Legislative Assembly from his hospital bed. He received twice the number of votes cast by his Congress nemess and the most popular vote polled by any candidate for the Assembly.

In 1972, DMK founder Karunanidhi began to promote his first son M. K. Muthu in a major way in film and politics, at the same time M.G.R. Following C. N. Annadurai's demise, corruption had increased in the party. M.G.R. therefore, M.G.R. I was booted from the party.

Anakaputhur Ramalingam, his colleague, formed the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam after being banned from DMK. I joined as a member of the party and became its leader and genealist secretary. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), the only true critic of the DMK, was later renamed. Netru Indru Naalai (1974), Idhayakani (1975), Indru Pol Endrum Vain (1977), etc. He mobilized between 1972 and 1977 to promote his party's aspirations.

The 1977 Tamil Nadu Legislative was contested by the AIADMK. The AIADMK, DMK, the Indian National Congress (INC), and the Janata Party were all fighting for four pillars in the presidential election. The AIADMK allied itself with the Communist Party of India (CPIM), the Communist Party of India (Marxist), though INC(I) and the Communist Party (CPI) opposed as allies. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the Janata Party (JNP) both campaigned in uncontested elections alone. In favor of the All India Forward Bloc leader P.K., the AIADMK did not field any candidate in the Usilampatti Constituency. Mookiah Thevar is a fictional character from Thevar's Intuitive Encyclopedia. In the Vaniyambadi Constituency, the AIADMK also supported M. Abdul Latheef, the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) candidate. Two main alliances existed in the parliamentary elections that took place just three months before these elections – the AIADMK-CPI faction and the DMK-led DMK-CPM coalition, which were both major parties – the AIADMK-CPI coalition and the DMK-NCO-CPM coalition. These parties did not fall apart in the months that followed the parliamentary election. The AIADMK alliance won the elections by winning 144 seats out of a total of 234 and M.G.R. He was appointed Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. M.G.R. (M.G.R.) won the 1977 state elections, gaining M.G.R. On the 30th of June 1977, he took power until his resignation in 1987. Satyavani Muthu and Aravinda Pajanor, the first non-Congress politicians from Tamil Nadu to serve in the Union Cabinet in 1979. As long as M.G.R., the AIADMK gained every state assembly election. He was alive. Although Annadurai and Karunanidhi had appeared in stage plays in trivial roles in their youth, their involvement in the role as Chief Minister M.G.R. appeared in stage plays before becoming chief minister M.G.R. He was India's first well-known film actor to serve as a Chief Minister.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam of India was affiliated with the Indian National Congress (Indira) in the 1977 parliamentary election. However, M.G.R. says that Janata Party won the election and Morarji Desai became Prime Minister Morarji Desai became Prime Minister M.G.R. The Janata party government has been given unconditional assistance. In 1979, he continued his service to the Charan Singh Government. In 1980, new parliamentary elections were held in the Charan Singh government following the fall of the Charan Singh government. Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam formed an association with INC(I). In the parliamentary election in Tamil Nadu, the AIADMK and Janata Party alliance gained only 2 seats. INC(I) won the election and Indira Gandhi became the Prime Minister, and Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister. In 1980, the congress-DMK won an election that emboldened their relationship and made them believe that people have lost their faith in M.G.R. The government runs the country. Using similar allegations used by M.G.R., the DMK pressed the central government to dismiss the Tamil Nadu government. In 1976, the DMK government was fired. The AIADMK ministry and the assembly were dismissed by the central government and fresh elections were held in 1980. Despite their victory at the 1980 Lok Sabha elections, DMK and Indira Congress were unable to win the legislative assembly election. For the second time, AIADMK won the election and its leader, M. G. Ramachandran, was sworn in as Chief Minister.

Indira Gandhi was assassinated on October 31, 1984. M. G. Ramachandran was diagnosed with kidney disease and admitted to a hospital in New York City at the same time. Rajiv Gandhi took over immediately, but the people needed a new mandate. Indira (Indira) and Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam formed an alliance and fought for the election. M. G. Ramachandran was admitted to the hospital. M.G.R.'s coverage was captured on video. R. M. Veerappan, a recovering in hospital and Indira Gandhi's assassination, were stitched together by the AIADMK man in charge of campaigning, stitching together. The film was broadcast and broadcast throughout Tamil Nadu. Rajiv Gandhi visited cyclone-infested Tamil Nadu, which also enhanced the cooperation. M.G.R. Indira's assassination created a wave of compassion, which is M.G.R. M. Karunanidhi's illness and Rajiv Gandhi's charisma aided the alliance in winning the election. Indira Gandhi was assassinated in a hospital in the United States, and Indira Gandhi was admitted to a hospital in the United States. It was a landslide victory for the AIADMK-Congress alliance, which gained 195 seats in assembly elections. M.G.R.'s undying charisma was demonstrated by the electoral victory. The masses are on the march.

Karunanidhi declared M.G.R. on 1 April 2009 and then again on May 13, 2012. In September 1979, he was planning for the union of his party with the DMK, with former prime minister Odisha Biju Patnaik as the mediator. Panruti Ramachachandran, who was close to M.G.R., was unable to carry out the scheme. As a spoiler and M.G.R., he acted as both a spoiler and M.G.R. He's changed his mind.

And M.G.R. was a soldier who was killed in his suicide. His reign has been highly admired in the state, and many of his contemporaries have rated him as the best in the country. However, his reign is not without criticism. According to annual growth and per capita income under his tenure, the state went from being second among the top ten industrialized states in growth after Kamaraj's reign to tenth. According to the Madras Institute of Development Studies, this decline, according to critics, was due to the transfer of government funds from power and irrigation to the social and agriculture sector. In addition, the emphasis has been on "welfare schemes" such as free electricity to farmers, mid-day meal plans, etc. Many people have been seen by others as diverting funds away from infrastructure improvement that could have benefit the poor. In addition, the alcohol levy levied during his reign was seen to contribute to a regressive levy that mostly affected the poor.

M.G.R. has received other criticisms. The centralised decision-making, which many blame for inefficiency and corruption that have seized his control. Goondas' act in 1982 and other legislation that limited political criticism in the media, which resulted in a "police state" during his administration. Although these remarks were mainly in the minority, M.G.R. supporters have been involved in this resistance. The majority of these difficulties were caused by the party members who were serving M.G.R. Rather than the chief himself, rather than the guy himself. Although he is not widely regarded as a divisive figure in the state, observers and supporters alike agree that his charisma and fame trumped policy decisions that resulted in his eventual promotion during his tenure as chief minister.

M.G.R. Isn't a character in Natwar Singh's autobiography One Life is Not Enough. The LTTE and their cadres were being funded by the government in Tamil Nadu, and they covertly promoted the cause of independent Tamil Eelam. M.G.R. is also accused of M.G.R. Jaffna was deemed an extension of Tamil Nadu and the Indian Government, without informing the Indian Government at the time, had given the LTTE 40 million rupees.

M.G.R. Has been accused of being intolerant toward the media. The editor of Ananda Vikatan S. Balasubramanian was sentenced to 3 months in prison by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly in 1987 for a cartoon depicting government ministers as bandits and legislators as pickpockets, but no specific law was identified. However, he was released after media outrage, and S. Balasubramanian later won a lawsuit against his detention. The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly sentenced Vaniga Otrumai editor A.M. Paulraj to two weeks in jail for his writing earlier this year.

After C. Rajagopalachari and K. Kamaraj's death in 1987, he became the third Chief Minister from Tamil Nadu to be awarded the Bharat Ratna. The timing of the award was tumultuous due to the fact that it was given so soon after his death and that he was elected as Chief Minister just 11 years before the award. Many opponents, mostly outside Tamil Nadu, have criticized the former ruling party's decision committee for assisting in the 1989 Lok Sabha election. With J. Jayalalithaa, the successor to M.G.R., the ruling party is building a coalition. At that time, they were able to sweep Tamil Nadu, winning 38 out of 39 seats, but INC were still struggling to win nationally.

M.G.R. was born to celebrate M.G.R. The Ministry of Finance and Government of India decided to issue 100 and a five coins commemorating his image as a portrait, as well as an inscription of "Dr. M. G. Ramachachran Birth Centenary."
