Mercedes Mason (formerly Masöhn, 1980-1983) is a Swedish-American actress best known for her role as Zondra in Chuck's American television series Chuck and the role of Isabel Zambada in the American procedural drama The Finder.

Quarantine 2: Terminal, an American horror film, starred her.

In NCIS: Los Angeles, she played Louise Leonard in the 2012–13 American supernatural drama 666 Park Avenue and Talia Del Campo.

She appeared on AMC's television show Fear the Walking Dead from 2015 to 2017.

Early life

Mason was born in Linköping, Sweden, and grew up in the neighborhood of Ryd, Linköping. Her family immigrated from Iran. She has one sibling. At the age of 12, she and her family immigrated to the United States and were raised in the Chicago area.

Personal life

In September 2014, Mason married David Denman. Caius Kane, the boy's first child, was born on January 10, 2018. Sagan Cyrus, the couple's second child, was born in May 2021. In December 2019, Mason came out bisexual.

Mason is a naturalized citizen of the United States and had taken the citizenship exam in April 2016.

Mason spoke English, French, Spanish, and Persian; on the Swedish talk show Skavlan, she said she no longer speaks Swedish but she knows it.

Career

Mason began her career on television with a modest one-episode appearance in the daytime soap opera One Life to Live in 2005; she returned to the series for two episodes in 2006 as Neery. Mason made numerous one-episode appearances in films ranging from 2008 to 2011, including NCIS, CSI:NY, and Castle. Jenny of Quarantine 2: Terminal, the 2011 found footage horror film sequel to Quarantine, was her first film role. She appeared in minor roles in The Break-Up (2006) and Red Sands (2009) before that. She appeared in the drama film Three Veils in 2011. Mason appeared in numerous films in minor or supporting roles throughout the years.

During the lone season, Mason was one of two leading actors in The Finder. She served as a Deputy president of the United States. Marshal Isabel Zambada, the romantic interest of title character Walter Sherman (Geoff Stults), is the subject of a book. Both she and Maddie Hasson filled the empty left by the departure of Saffron Burrows, the female lead in the series's backdoor pilot, in the 19th episode of Bones. She appeared on ABC's supernatural drama series 666 Park Avenue in 2012, which was eventually cancelled midway through its season.

Talia Del Campo, the DEA Special Agent on CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles, debuted in spring 2014, and has since reprised her role as a recurring character, appearing in six episodes from 2014 to 2019. Mason debuted in her role as Ofelia Salazar on the Walking Dead companion series Fear the Walking Dead in August 2015. In the first season of ABC's The Rookie, she appeared as Captain Zoe Andersen.
