Mel Lisboa Career

Career

She debuted as an actress in 2001, appearing in the miniseries Presença de Anita, playing Anita, a mysterious and seductive young woman. She wrote a sensual essay for the Paparazzo site due to the character's strong sexual appeal. On TV Globo, the mini-series earned an average of 30 IBOPE points and was broadcast in full in 2002.

Gabriela was portrayed by Margaret Desejos de Mulher in 2002 as a young person from the interior with aspirations to be a model. This project was not as profitable due to the well-known image of the previous protagonist and poor plot ratings. At the time, the actress admitted that she was stunned by the success of such a well-known role, but that her experience in playing another role with no recognition enabled her to mature.

She wrote her second sensual essay in 2003, this time for Trip magazine. In its 29th anniversary issue, she posed naked for the Brazilian version of Playboy magazine in the following year. She returned to Rede Globo in the same year after a failed contract with SBT, performing Lenita Paiva, a wealthy teenager.

She joined GNT/ Sat TV Globo in 2007 and published the book Mundo Afora – Diário de Mel Lisboa, which featured stories and photos from her program. Carla, a young, humble yet incredibly optimistic girl with a dubious reputation, appeared on the soap opera Sete Pecados ("Seven Sins") in which she played Carla.

She signed with Rede Record TV in 2011 and she's since been a member of Rede Record TV. Her first appearance in the series Sanso e Dalila ("Samson and Deliah") was played by the female protagonist.

She was admitted to the hospital with an intestinal virus and had to cancel essa.

The actress returned to the stage in a stage performance, Homem N'o Entra, in 2013, bringing the Western genre to the stage. She appeared on television in As Canalhas, a new GNT show, and Pecado Mortal's Rede Record, as Carlos Lombardi.

Mel Lisboa portrayed Rita Lee in the film Rita Lee Mora ao Lado, directed by Márcio Macena and Débora Dubois, based on the book Rita Lee Mora ao Lado – Uma biografia da rainha do rock, written by Henrique Bartsch.

She appeared in Os Dez Mandamentos in 2015, her first Rede Record appearance.
