Mehran Modiri Life

Mehran Modiri (born April 7, 1967) is a prolific Iranian actor, television and cinema producer, actor, and singer.

He is considered Iran's top satire artist.

He has often referred to people's poor attitudes and negative traits in his writings, as well as officials for social inequalities.

His various series, which have been broadcast on IRIB, have set new heights in terms of viewership (an estimated 85% when he is on air), as well as making him a household celebrity.

His artistic career began in his teenage years when he was active in local plays.

In the early 1990s, he began working scripts for and appearing in various comedy skits on the IRIB's annual Norooz comedy television shows. He continued to appear in television comedies, but his creation, Pavarchin (Tiptoeing), in which he gained acclaim for directing and acting in the film, earned him acclaim.

When he produced and appeared in Noghtechin (Ellipsis), and Jayezeye Bozorg (The Grand Prize), Iran's biggest hits, he enjoyed success once more. Afterwards, he continued Pavarchin's storyline with the development of Shabhaye Barareh, his most popular television program yet; the show was later cancelled after being criticized for offending rural people, resulting in the show's abrupt ending after 92 episodes, without fully describing the Barareh mythology. Since Shabhaye Barareh's debut, he has appeared in two full length films and had hoped to return to filmmaking once more.

However, he soon started working on his next project, the television series Baghe Mozaffar. In addition, Modiri has released a music album and appeared in a number of concerts.

He is also a veteran of the Iran–Iraq War.

According to Newsweek, Modiri was selected one of the 20 people in Iran who dominate politics and public discourse in 2015. In 2015, he was mostly seen in Nasim TV at the Dorehami program, which received Avnmarket sponsorship.

Personal life

Mehran Modiri is the last child of a family from Arak's city. He has three elder brothers. Farhad and Shahrzad are married and have two children.

Modiri was born and raised in a poor family in Tehran, Iran's south. As a child and a teenager, he served in numerous physical and low-paying jobs, including carpenter, porter, welder, mechanic, and baker.
