Megan Fox Life

Megan Denise Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress and singer.

She began her acting career in 2001, appeared in a variety of television and film roles, and appeared on the Hope & Faith television sitcom.

She made her film debut in 2004 with the teen drama Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

In the blockbuster action film Transformers, she co-starred as Mikaela Banes, the love interest of Shia LaBeouf's character, which became her breakout role.

In the 2009 sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Fox reprised her role.

She appeared in Jennifer's Body, a black comedy horror film released in 2009.

Fox starred in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as April O'Neil in 2014 and starred in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016). Fox has long been regarded as a sex symbol, appearing in magazines such as Maxim, Rolling Stone, and FHM.

Early life

Megan Denise Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, on May 16, 1986, to parents Gloria Darlene (née Cisson) and Franklin Thomas Fox. She spent her early childhood in nearby Rockwood, Texas. When Fox was three years old, Fox's father, a parole officer, and her mother divorced. Fox and her sister were raised by her mother and her stepfather, Tony Tonachio, after her mother remarried. She was raised "very strictly Pentecostal," but she later attended Catholic school for 12 years. She said that the two were "very strict" and that she was not allowed to have a boyfriend or invite friends to her house. She lived with her mother until she had enough funds to care for herself.

At age five, Fox began her dancing and drama in Kingston, Tennessee. She attended a dance class at the community center and was active in the Kingston Elementary School's chorus and the Kingston Clippers swim team. Fox continued her training at age 10, after moving to St. Petersburg, Florida. After winning multiple awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina, Fox began modeling when she was 13 years old. When Fox attended St. Lucie West Centennial High School in Port St. Lucie during her junior year, she attended Morningside Academy in Port St. Lucie. In order to move to Los Angeles, California, she tested out of school by correspondence when she was 17 years old.

Fox opened openly about her time in school, claiming that she was mocked and had to eat lunch in the bathroom to prevent from being "pelted with ketchup packets." She said the issue was not her appearances, but that she had "always got along better with boys" and that "rubbed some people the wrong way." Fox also said that she was never popular in high school and that "everyone hated me," and that "everyone hated me" and that "I was completely outcast." "I've had just one amazing girlfriend my entire life." She admits she detestated school and has "never been a big believer in formal education" and that "the education I was receiving seemed irrelevant in the same interview. So, I was sort of checked out on that part of it."

Personal life

A group of fashion-motivated criminals called the "Bling Ring" robbed her then-boyfriend Brian Austin Green's house in 2009 for access to Fox's information.

Fox has discussed her obsessive – compulsive disorder (OCD), insecurities, self-harming, and has admitted to having low self-confidence. She said in 2013 that her Christian faith is still very important to her, and that keeping her grounded.

Generosity Water was favored by Fox and then-husband Green, who sponsored the development of over ten water wells for the company.

Fox, a feminist and sexphobe, has a general mistrust and dislike of women, and the suggestion that she be a "wild and tumult" is false; she said she would rather stay at home than going out; she also stated that she does not have sex with someone she does not love; she did not know how to handle it. She is bisexual, and she believes that "all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes." "I have no doubt in my mind about being bisexual," she said in 2009. But I'm also a hypocrite: I would never date a bisexual person because they would sleep with men, and men are so filthy that they would never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man."

InStyle's July 2021: "You had a lot to do with me," the girl would come up to me and tell me that I was gay or learning that I was bisexual." Of course, this is by far the most touching, rewarding thing that I've ever encountered in my life. To be a part of something that helped people figure it out, or helped people cope with it, or make them feel better about it. Being a bi icon, one of the things I am most proud of, is one of my favorite things to get to.

Since being on the set of Hope & Faith in 2004, Fox began dating actor Brian Austin Green; she was 18 years old when he first appeared on Hope & Faith; she was 30 years old when he first met him. Green was initially reluctant to enter a relationship with her due to the age difference, stating, "I had to remind him that I was marginally more responsible and well-spoken, and that other things to bring to the table besides being 18." They became involved in November 2006. They ended their engagement in February 2009, but they were reported to have reengaged on June 1, 2010. Fox maintained that she and Green had been active since 2006.

In a private celebration at the Four Seasons Resort on Maui on June 24, 2010, Fox and Green married. They have three sons, born in 2012, 2014, and 2016. Fox was also a stepmother to Green's son from a previous marriage. Fox filed for divorce on August 21, 2015, just a few days after she and Green announced their separation. They were back together and expecting their third child by early 2016. Fox filed to disclaim the divorce in Los Angeles, California, on April 25, 2019.

Green announced in May 2020 that he and Fox had separated after nearly ten years of marriage, and Fox filed for divorce from Green for the second time in November 2020. On October 15, 2021, the divorce was finalized.

Several weeks after Machine Gun Kelly's album "Bloody Valentine" debuted on Fox, she and singer Machine Gun Kelly went public about their friendship in June 2020. Fox announced on January 12, 2022, that the two were engaged.

Career

Brianna Wallace, a spoiled heiress and rival of Alex Stewart (Ashley Olsen), who was released direct-to-DVD on November 20, 2001, made her acting debut in the romantic comedy Holiday in the Sun in 2001. She appeared on the sitcoms What I Like About You and Two and a Half Men for several years. In the action film Bad Boys II (2004), Fox also appeared as an uncredited extra.

In 2004, Fox made her film debut opposite Lindsay Lohan in the musical comedy Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, playing Carla Santini, a rival of Lola (Lohan). She appeared on ABC' Hope & Faith as a regular on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith, in which she played Sydney Shanowski, suppling Nicole Paggi. Before ABC canceled Fox in May 2006, the show appeared in second and third seasons.

In 2007, Fox produced Mikaela Banes' lead female role in the 2007 live-action film Transformers, based on the toy and cartoon saga of the same name. Sam Witwicky, who was supposed to be the love interest of Shia LaBeouf's character, was played on Fox. Fox was nominated for an MTV Movie Award in the category of "Breakthrough Achievement" and was also nominated for three Teen Choice Awards. She had been involved in two more Transformers sequels, as Mikaela in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. When Fox's director, Michael Bay, the film's director, asked the actress to gain ten pounds, there was controversies surrounding it. The film was released internationally on June 24, 2009, with a lot of success.

Fox was supposed to appear in the third installment of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but she was not accepted because of her comments comparing working under director Bay to being in Hitler. Fox was fired on executive producer Steven Spielberg's orders, according to Bay, a claim Spielberg denied.

In 2009, Fox appeared in her first lead role since the Transformers series; she portrayed the title character in Jennifer's Body, an Academy Award-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody. When the film was first released, it received mixed to average reviews, with Fox's success receiving praise. However, the film grew to prominence over time and was reassessed as a "forgotten feminist masterpiece" in an academic sense. The film was incorrectly promoted by executives who concentrated on the young male audience, according to Cody.

Jonah Hex, a female superhero film starring Tallulah Black / Leila, a gun-wielding beauty, and Jonah Hex's (Josh Brolin) love interest, began in April 2009. On June 18, 2010, the film was released. Despite receiving top billing, Fox referred to her role in the film as a cameo. Jonah Hex was a journalist and commercial failure in the United States, with its international distribution cancelled due to the company's poor results. The Houston Film Critics Society named the film as the year's best picture of the year.

In the drama Passion Play, Fox appeared alongside Mickey Rourke. With only two screens showing the film to fulfill contractual obligations after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, its traditional theatrical distribution was discarded in favour of a direct-to-video release. Rourke said the film was "terrible." Another bad film. In the music video for Eminem and Rihanna's single "Love the Way You Lie," Fox met Dominic Monaghan. Fox appeared briefly in Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy film The Dictator and appeared in Judd Apatow's comedy film This Is 40. Lois Lane appeared in the animated comedy film Robot Chicken, an episode of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block on September 9, 2012.

Fox was featured in a Brazilian television commercial for Brahma beer in January 2013. Fox put aside her differences with her late director Michael Bay and spent more time with him on his resurrecting of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), starring April O'Neil as the lead human character.

In the Plarium video game Stormfall: Rise of Balur, Fox was cast in Amelia Delthanis. Following Deschanel's maternity leave, Fox will briefly replace Zooey Deschanel in the television sitcom New Girl in October 2015. Reagan Lucas appeared in the fifth and sixth seasons of the series. Critics loved her performance. Fox brought her role as April O'Neil in the sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows in 2016.

Fox actor Kim Myung-min appeared in the Korean War film The Battle of Jangsari, which was announced on September 12, 2018. She was a leading role in Marguerite Higgins, an American news reporter.

In the same year, Fox appeared in Zeroville directed by James Franco, which was shot in 2014 for the first time. Critics slammed the film and it failed at the box office.
