Mauricio Henao Serbia (born on 16 February 1987 in Armenia, Quindío, Colombia) is a Colombian actor best known for his roles in telenovelas for Telemundo.
Career
Henao grew up in Colombia until he hit the age of 12, then he migrated to the United States, where he studied at Cypress Creek High School. He continued to model for various European and American cities, including Nicolas Felizola, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Paul Joe Paris, among others. Henao has been compared to actors such as James Dean and Ryan Gosling. After appearing in numerous magazines as a model, I've been published in several magazines. He decided to move to Miami, United States, where he started taking acting lessons and learned how to speak Spanish. In 2010, he decides to act out the casting for Telemundo's telenovela 'Dónde Elisa, where he appeared Eduardo Cáceres. He returns to work for Telemundo in the telenovela El fantasma de Elena, where he plays Michell later this year. Although he had already excelled in two television projects, Tony, the central character of the Nickelodeon teen drama series Grachi's first season, was recognized nationally and internationally. He landed a chance to film in another Telemundo telenovela named Mi corazón, where he appeared Daniel Santacruz, the younger brother of Jencarlos Canela in the telenovela.
He won his first major role in the MTV teen drama series ltimo ao, where he credited Dulce Mara. He received a special place in the last chapters of the Televisa telenovela La Tempestad in 2013. He appeared in the Telemundo telenovela La impostora in 2014 as part of the main cast. He continued to act in the series Se'ora Acero, in which he played José ngel Godoy, Michel Duval's closest friend in the series.
