Matt Good Career

Musical career

Good was originally a member of grindcore outfit The Color of Violence, which was later known as Skeleton Slaughter vs. Fetus Destroyer. The band had started as a full time job, but Good, alongside fellow members Travis Richter, Derek Bloom, and Joey Antillon decided to make it from here. From First to Last

Travis Richter and Good, a guitarist-vocalist, moved from First to Last (then known as simply First Too Last), was founded by guitarist-vocalist Travis Richter and Good. The band, who were then on a bouncing line-up, released Aesthetic, their debut EP, on Four Leaf Recordings in New York. Good and Bloom were the only original members of the band to be included in any of the band's recordings. They appeared on all four of the band's full-length albums and appeared on all of the band's tours.

Craig Owens had started claiming he was assembling a new band together after being kicked out of Chiodos in late 2009. Owens revealed that the new band was D.R.U.G.S., which is an acronym that stands for Destroy Rebuild Before God Shows. Owens began to announce band members one by one through video blogs. Craig Owens as the lead singer, Matt Good as the guitarist and vocalist, Nick Martin as a guitarist and vocalist, Adam Russell as the drummer, and Aaron Stern as the drummer by the time the last member was announced. The band debuted in the recording studio on August 25, 2010 and finished recording the album on October 21 of the same year. The band then embarked on their first headlining tour Rise from the Ashes Tour, which was aided by Eyes Set To Kill and New Medicine, which took place between December 4 to 19, 2010. The band has revealed that the album will be called D.R.U.G.S. With a publication date of February 22, 2011.

Matt Good and a friend, AJ Calderon, developed "juiceb0x" while in D.R.U.G. Under that name, the two bands made a few Dubstep/Electronica remixes. They renamed "juiceb0x" to Kit Fysto later in the ensuing of a copyright infringement lawsuit. Kit Fysto became Matt Good and AJ Calderon's full-time project after Matt Good and two other band members left D.R.U.G. The two performers will appear together on June 22, 2012 at The Electric Glow Festival in Allentown, Pennsylvania, for their first live show together. Matt Good and AJ Calderon have a newfound addiction to Diablo III, which has a official YouTube channel named KitFystoOfficial, but there is only one video on the internet due to the fact that Matt Good and AJ Calderon have a newfound addiction to Diablo III.

Matt Good and the other former Destroy Rebuilders Before God Shows, Deceased Craig Owens, who returned to Chiodos, discussed starting a new unidentified project together, but the band's founders and two other ex-members of D.R.U.G.S. said they could not be a band without Owens, but they could not continue working on this new venture.

It was announced in November 2013 that FFTL would be reuniting. Good, Travis Richter, Derek Bloom, and Matt Manning will be included in the lineup. Bloom was unable to attend the reunion, so Good recruited Taylor Larson on guitar, Spencer Sotelo of Periphery on vocals, and Ernie Slenkovich on drums. In late 2013, FFTL's Kickstarter campaign was successfully funded. They started out wanting to write and record an EP, but they later decided to release an LP. "Dead Trees," Sumerian Records' full-length album, was released in April 2015. On Halloween night of 2014, FFTL performed their first reunion show with Black Veil Brides at the Marquee Theater in Tempe, Arizona. In December 2014, they began to complete a short West coast United States tour.

Matt revealed on Twitter that he is in fact a member of Kill It With Fire, a teen rock band. However, all tweets regarding the campaign have since been archived and have not been reported since, putting the project's status in question.
