The brutal BBC bloodbath: Major dramas, an award-winning comedy and fan favourite quiz shows have all been axed - so which of your favourites have fallen victim to the cutthroat corporation?

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 7, 2024
The bloodbath's body count is similar to a Line Of Duty-style murder spree, with the BBC aiming to cut 100 hours of television shows this year. Not one genre has been left out, with the axe sweeping everything from drama to quiz shows to comedy. In the face of rising inflation and a two-year freeze to the cost of a TV licence, which provides the majority of the BBC's funding, the BBC is hoping to make £500 million in savings, making some of the BBC's more recent ruthless decisions.

SIR CLIVE WOODWARD: Yes, France have monsters - but they are there for the taking! My three key clashes England must win in Le Crunch

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 15, 2024
SIR CLIVE WOODWARD: It's a long shot, but England will still win the 2024 Six Nations with a victory away from France on Saturday night as long as Ireland is defeated at home by Scotland. Steve Borthwick and his teammates will know the outcome from Dublin by the time they take to the field in Lyon. Whatever happens, England must play as if the Championship is on target. That is the attitude I would have taken this week if I had been in Borthwick's shoes as head coach. If Ireland defeats Scotland and win the title, it will be well done. That's out of England's hands.

Matt Dawson tells ME & MY MONEY: 'I was a rugby star - but now I spend an awful lot on golf!'

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 9, 2024
Dawson was a member of England's Rugby World Cup winning squad in 2003 and later made his name with the British & Irish Lions, but he had a variety of jobs, including serving as a PE instructor, before moving to England. He came to prominence as a scrum half for the Northampton Saints and Wasps in his first season with the London club. Matt had embarked on a media career before retiring in 2006, beginning as a team captain on the hit BBC show A Question Of Sport and a regular contributor to BBC Five Live's rugby coverage. He is also a keen investor and runs Lemon and Lime Associates, a business growth consultancy.
