Early life
Gibson was born in Caracas, where she use to study architecture at the Central University of Venezuela. She speaks Spanish, English and French. Gibson attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia for Interior Design.
Career
Gibson, who stands 1.78 meters (5'10"), was the sixth Miss Miranda to win the Miss Venezuela pageant since 1952. She also received the Best Face award.
On August 23, she represented Venezuela in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, but she did not make it to the Top 15. Nonetheless, by popular votes, El Tocuyo was crowned. Venezuela was not among the semifinalists for the third time in twenty-eight years after Ana Karina ez in 2004 and Jictzad Via in 2006.
