Career

Jow appeared on Barney and Dellaventura as a child, but her acting career took off when she co-starred in the Nickelodeon sitcom Unfabulous with Emma Roberts, where she played Geena Fabiano, one of Roberts' best friends. The program ran for three seasons from 2004 to 2007, winning several Young Artist Award nominations.

When Unfabulous came to an end in 2007, Jow co-starred on the animated film Bratz: The Movie as Quinn, The Young and the Restless, iCarly, The Uncertain Life of the American Teenager and the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana co-starred in the 2009 science fiction comedy Aliens in the Attic.

Jow appeared in the first season of The Vampire Diaries, a CW fantasy drama. Anna, a vampire, was played by the actress. In the third season, Jow appeared for a brief period. Jow costarred in the fantasy romance film You're So Cupid the year before. Alice Cantwell appears in Megan's film and the drama film The Social Network as Megan. Leverage, a TNT crime comedy-drama, costarred her on an episode. Cadence Nash, then, went on to appear in Nickelodeon's action/science fiction sitcom The Troop.

Jow debuted in 2011 as Lucy Stone, an aspiring rock musician and a brief love interest of Kendall Knight (Kendall Schmidt), and later became James Diamond's love interest. Violet appeared in the ABC mystery comedy-drama Desperate Housewives as Violet.

Jow appeared in The CW drama pilot Shelter, a comedy starring J. J. Abrams and Mark Schwahn, where she played Morgan. It was not detected by the network.

Malese was confirmed on August 25, 2015, as Linda Park as a friend of Iris for multiple episodes.
