Mai Charoenpura (born January 5, 1969), also known as Mai Siriwimol, is a Thai singer and actress.

Early life

She was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and she is one of four children of Thai actor Surin Charoenpura (stage name: Ruj Ronnapop) and Winee Sontikool. Venic White, Vipavee Maguire, and a half-sister, actress Intira Charoenpura, are among her three sisters. Mai was educated in England at Farrington's School.

Charoenpura has released hundreds of albums, music videos, and appeared in several concerts since 1989 as a guitarist.

Charoenpura appeared in Manchester in 2007 for a concert arranged by former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra to mark his ownership of Manchester City F.C.

She's best known as an actress in Khon Rerng Muang (Thai: ). So much so that she appeared in two separate made-for-TV remakes consecutively in 1988 and 2002, she made the role her own. She came to international prominence for her role as Lady Srisudachan in Chatrichalerm Yukol's 2001 film The Legend of Suriyothai, directed by Chatrichalerm Yukol and released theatrically in the United States in 2003.

Charoenpura appeared in Die a Violent Death, anthology horror film, alongside Akara Amarttayakul and Supaksorn Chaimongkol in 2010.

Memory and Meat Grinder are two of her other films.

She appeared in Channel 3 drama Krong Kam as Yoi in 2019 after a long absence from acting.
