She is best known for her role in the HBO series Sex and the City and its 2008 sequel, as well as Mags in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Early years
Lynn Harriette Kay, the daughter of Louis Kay and Bertha Cornsweet Kay, was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to a Jewish family. She studied at the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University for a year, then moved to St. Louis, where she first performed in regional theater.
Personal life
In 1954, Cohen married Gilbert Frazen, but the two divorced in 1960. She married Ronald Theodore Cohen in 1964, and they were married until her death in 2020. She had one adult child and two grandchildren.
Career
Cohen began her acting in Off-Broadway productions in the 1970s, receiving Drama League Award and Lucille Lortel Awards nominations.
