In Liga ACB and EuroLeague, a shooting guard first caught interest while playing professionally for Real Madrid. The Atlanta Hawks selected him third overall in the 2018 NBA Draft and traded him immediately to the Dallas Mavericks, who then traded him to the Dallas Mavericks. In 2019, he was named Rookie of the Year in the NBA.
