Luisana Loreley Lopilato (born 18 May 1987) is an Argentine actress, model and former singer. She was a member of the pop-rock band Erreway from 2002 to 2004.

Early life

Lopilato was born to Eduardo Lopilato and Beatriz de la Torre. Her older siblings are actress Daniela Lopilato and actor Darío. She is of Spanish and Italian heritage; her great-grandfather was an immigrant from Muro Lucano, province of Potenza. She grew up in an evangelical Christian family and has stated that she is a devout Christian.

Personal life

Lopilato became engaged to Canadian singer Michael Bublé in 2009, having appeared in his music video for "Haven't Met You Yet" which was written for her. She married Bublé on 31 March 2011, in her native Argentina, with a full ceremony in April. They have four children: a son born 27 August 2013, a son born 21 January 2016, a daughter born 26 July 2018, and another daughter born 19 August 2022. Their oldest son was diagnosed with liver cancer hepatoblastoma in 2016, but has since recovered.

Television career

Lopilato made her first appearance in Chiquititas in 1997 at the age of ten, and later in 1998, she made her debut in the television series Mi familia es un dibujo, age 11, and continued to work as a child model and actor in television commercials, which is something she began at the age of 5. She was selected to appear in Luisana Maza in Chiquititas at the age of 12, a famous television series created by Cris Morena in 1999. Lopilato became a hit in her homeland thanks to her work.

Lopilato has joined the Cris Morena Group and has released four Chiquititas soundtrack collections, including Chiquititas Vol. Chiqutas Vol. 5 (1999) n. 5. Chiquititas Vol. 6 (2000) Vol. Chiquititas (2001) and Chiquititas Rincón de Luz (2001). She reprised her role as Luisana Maza in Chiquititas, la historia, a mini-series broadcast in 2001, and Chiquititas: Rincón de Luz, a 2001 Chiquititas spin-off film. She appeared in Un Amor en Moises Ville in 2000.

Lopilato appeared in the 2002—03 television series Rebelde Way, created by Cris Morena, in 2002. Erjas, Felipe Colombo, Camila Bordonaba, and Benjamn Rojas formed a pop rock band, Ergo, and Camila Bordonaba. Three studio albums were released by Erria (2002), Tiempo (2003), and Memoria (2004), which have sold over 5 million copies. Seales and Tiempo received platinum awards in Argentina (Seales earned two platinum), while Memoria earned Gold. Erraway: 4 Caminos, the company's 2004 film, was a box-office hit.

Lopilato was a student at the University of Erlangen and Rojas, Colombo, and Bordonaba.

In June 2009, FHM magazine in Spain ranked her 86 in its annual Las 100 mujeres más sexys del mundo poll.

Lopilato returned to Argentina in a public television episode of Variaciones Walsh's mini-series Variaciones Walsh. In her first North American film Fair Market Value, she went to Hollywood acting; Tina Benko and Wendy Makkena appeared. As part of the jury, she was invited to join Tu Cara Me Suena, a talent show, in the same year.

Singing career

Lopilato began her career as a singer in Chiquititas, the television show that brought her to prominence. She appeared in the album with other celebrities from the series in 2000. In 2001, the final part of the series was released. Cris Morena, the series's creator, rehired Lopilato for a new series named Rebelde Way, which became Erich Leo Varadkar, a pop group made up of the four main characters of the film. The actors chosen for the series and the group were Benjamn Rojas, Lopilato, Felipe Colombo, Felipe Colombo, and Camila Bordonaba. Three studio albums have been released: Seales (2002), Tiempo (2003), and Memoria (2004).

Two years later, the company was sold to Spain and the company's success, which culminated in a fourth and fifth album, this time a compilation titled El Disco de Rebelde Way (2006) and Errogue (2006), as well as a performance in Israel in 2004.

Lopilato, along with her brother Dargo Lopilato, appeared on Atracción x4 in 2008 and 2009. In Argentina, the series brought out two albums that received gold certification.

Modeling career
