Luis Advíncula Career

Club career

Advncula's career began in Juan Aurich's lower divisions and made his professional debut for the club in 2009. He was hired by Sporting Cristal in January 2010 in an effort not only to compete in international tournaments but also with the intention of obtaining a spot in the forthcoming payrolls.

The Houston Dynamo from the United States made a bid for AdvAdvance, but the agreement fell apart at the last minute. He was transferred from Ukraine to SC Tavriya Simferopol on July 19, 2012, but he returned to Sport Cristal after only one month because the club did not reach the quota for Adv.

Advncula and German club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim of the Bundesliga announced on January 5th, 2013.

On July 10, 2013, Advncula joined Ponte Preta on a six-month loan after being recommended to the club by manager Paulo César Carpegiani. Despite being supposed to start right-back for the Macaca following Cicinho's departure, the Peruvian player only made four appearances for the club, behind Artur and Régis, who was usually the third choice on the right side of the defense. He fell out of favor with manager Jorginho, who called the player "technically weak." He was released from the club on October 29th.

He joined Vitória de Setbal on a one-year loan on August 19, 2014.

Advance returned to Europe on July 29, 2018, this time to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga, where he was on loan for one year. After a good season with Rayo Vallecano, it was announced that the club had decided to redeem the players purchasing option, particularly after a successful Copa America with Peru. However, Rayo was cut from La Liga in the season that he was playing for, so it was expected that he would be released from Rayo after they had deemed him out of the league.

Rayo was promoted to the first division of La Liga with Advncula as a replacement after playing in the 2021-2021 season.

After the club reached an agreement with Rayo, Advinicula was transferred to Boca Juniors in July 2021.

International career

Advisor. Since being a member of the South American U-20 national team in 2009, he has been capped.

On the second leg of the intercontinental play-off against New Zealand, Advncula also participated in the starting eleven. He was instrumental in the success of Peru's first World Cup since 1982, helping Peru qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

He was named in Peru's final 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in May. When his team was eliminated from the tournament, he appeared in all three group matches.

In a 1–2 friendly loss to Germany on September 9, he scored his first international goal.
