Linda Chung Career

TV career

Chung was signed under CCTVB after winning the Miss Chinese International Pageant. Chung made her acting debut in the series Virtues of Harmony II, the new spin-off of the sitcom Virtues of Harmony. Her year was notably well-received, with public praises. For the first time, she was nominated for the Most Improved Female Actress award at the 2004 Television Academy Awards. During her first year in the industry, Chung appeared in numerous advertisements and music videos. Due to her first success, TVB named her as one of the "Twelve New Stars" in honor of her appearance on "the Big Banger."

During this initial period, other industry professionals, including Nancy Sit, Frankie Lam, Kara Hui, Shawn Yue, Chen Kun, Chen Kun, Kent Cheng, Sammy Leung, Wong He, Joey Leung, and Erica Yuen, also praised Chung.

Chung received her first major award "Most Improved Female Actress" in 2006 after appearing in Always Ready, The Biter Bitten, and Forensic Heroes.

Chung's breakthrough role came in 2007, where she played Sheung Joy Sum (lit). In a popular year of that year, Heart of Greed, the heart is still at heart. Audiences and several influential individuals praised Chung. A couple of scenes involving her character sparked the highest ratings for the drama's ratings; one was when her character revealed that Alfred Ching Leung deceived her, earning a 39-point rating; another was when Tong Chi On proposed marriage to her, receiving a 48-point rating. For the second year in a row, she received a nomination for Best Actress and My Most Favorite Female Character Role.

Chung was lauded by co-star Steven Ma for her beauty, good manner, and ripe acting during a shoot of A Journey Called Life. In a previous collaboration of Virtues of Harmony II, the two performers worked together.

Chung received the most coveted award for her appearance in A Journey Called Life, one of the five series that were released in 2008. Sheren Tang has received accolades both in the industry and the public. Chung was named in the top five of the Best Actress awards for her role in this series at the 41st TVB Anniversary Awards (2008). Legend of the Demigods was also nominated for the top-five Most Popular Female Character Award, representing her first leading role in a period drama. Chung remained as Yu So Sum in Moonlight Resonance, receiving some accolades for his work. A scene in the drama earned a 50-point rating, making it the most watched scene in all TVB series to date. Chung also received accolades from Ha Yu, Michelle Yim, and Lee Heung-kam while doing this role.

Chung appeared in Ghost Writer, A Watchdog's Story, Twilight Investigation, and Can't Buy Me Love in 2009. Chung was ranked number one in the Best Supporting Actress category at the 42nd TelevisionB Anniversary Awards (2009), and Ada Choi, Lee San San San, and Maggie Shiu were among her fellow applicants.

While Chung's Tales of A Watchdogs was released in 2009 in the first season, it received the highest audience rating in the first season and the top five series in total audience ratings in 2010. Chung had another breakthrough while still being an likeness of the masculine role in A Watchdog's Tale. Chung was named top 5 in the Best Actress award for her role in Ghost Writer and also nominated top 5 in the Most Favourite Female Character Role award for her role in Can't Buy Me Love at the 2010 TVB Anniversary Awards, and she was also nominated top 5 in the Most Favourite Female Character Role award for her role in Can't Buy Me Love. Twilight Investigation was another year in a row, but her acting hasn't been robbed yet.

When Chung was shooting the ancient costume drama "River of Wine" in December 2010, she received acclaim from Bowie Lam for her weeping scene. Chung's first-class performance in many series before the day was filmed by media as the "successor of fa-dan" and one of the "Best new-coming fa-dan" with Myolie Wu, Kate Tsui, and Fala Chen.

In 2011, Chung was the second female protagonist in "Yes, Sir." Sir, we're sorry." Miss Koo had just played her role from the 8th episode to the end. Despite the fact that she had only passionate feelings for one of the male leads in the film (Moses Chan), she became the subject of the viewer and internet viewers by the three sections of Miss Koo. She began as a cool bowling coach right away. Miss Koo appears to be a melting glacier as a result of Law Sir's influence (Moses Chan's character), and the audience erupted with their sweet and emotional scenes. Miss Koo was devastated when it came to an end due to Law Sir and her sister's deception (Queenie Chu's character). This left a lasting impression on the audiences. Despite being the second female leader in the year-end awards ceremony, the participants received a lot of praise for her appearance and decided that she was definitely capable of competing in the Best Actress category for this role. It was rare that the major newspapers simultaneously reported the above subject at the same time. She was not only supported by Chan and Yeung, but Queenie Chu, Cilla Kung, and Lau Ka Ho all assisted her. Chung was lauded on the whole, and Miss Koo is one of Linda Chung's finest performances.

With Chung's spectacular performances until mid-2011, the TVB's "Best Actress" award for Best Director Gordon Chan, Hong Kong Film Director Patrick Kong, Hong Kong Film Director Patrick Kong, Tvb actress Helen Ma, Kate Tsui, and Myolie Wu praised her for being the next "Best Actress" or to be named in the TVB Anniversary Awards, or simply to be the first-actress.

She was then shortlisted for Top Actress and Most Favourite Female Character Role for her role in "Yes, Sir" by the end of the series. Sir, I'm sorry. In 2011, Miss Koo's Most Valuable Performance Award was presented to her by the audience, and Yes Sir, Sir Sir, Sorry Sir. However, Miss Koo voted out the Most Favourite Female Character Role award at the 2011 TVB Anniversary Awards, and TVB was later dragged to the correct winner of the Most Favourite Female Character Role award, rather than Myolie Wu. Fans were also outraged that she skipped the 2011 TVB Anniversary Awards empty handed. Chung began to be the Non-official Best Actress.

In 2010, Chung produced "L'Escargot" which was finally broadcast in 2012. Her character was embedded in a complicated love triangle involving Michael Tse and Ron Ng's characters. She herself addressed the numerous new challenges she encountered while portraying her character. In addition,, her personal relationship with Tse has gained her more public attention and was the subject of a lot of popular discussion. Gem Tang, Felix Wong, and Hinson Chou praised her performance. Daddy Good Deeds, her latest series, Daddy Good Deeds, premiered on March 19, 2012, and her character Ko Yu-chu amused the world. Cilla Kung, Xia Yu, and Steven Ma, among other things, praised her professionalism and acting as she continued to develop in her acting. In TVB, she and Steven Mael were a fantastic pair on screen. On TVB from 30 Apr to August 2012, her third series House of Harmony and Vengeance was broadcast, depicting her as an ancient version of Ms. Cool. When she had watched Chung dance hula hoop, Bobby Au Yeung wondered if he knew she was dancing as he had seen her compete in hula hoop. Chung's remarks about her dancing revealed that Chung was so hard-working and serious in practising dancing. Bobby said in their first film starring "Forte Girls" that Chung was only like a little girl, but she has been completely transformed and honed in those years, whether acting or otherwise. She said that her purity had not changed over the years. The purity of Chung was also mentioned by Myolie Wu.

Witness Insecurity was her fourth series, and she had the most prominent exposure rate in the first half of the year, with four series already out and most likely nothing left for the remainder of the year. Many viewers expressed dissatisfaction with TVB's presentation of her series too close to one another. However, Witness Insecurity generated high TVB viewership ratings, which were surprising by TVB. On the other hand, the sad ending to this series attracted a lot of criticism from viewers, who complained that they wanted a good ending and demanded a re-make of the ending. Not only was Chung's acting celebrated by the public, but her co-star Bosco Wong and her co-star Bosco Wong are gaining a lot of attention as the new screen couple. By Witness Insecurity this year, she was lauded by Paul Chun, co-star Bosco Wong, and film producer Patrick Kong Chung. Chung's 'Best Actress' Award was given to him by Jason Chan, Michael Dao, and Charmaine Li. However, she was turned down for the nomination of My Favorite Female Character in the 2012 televisionB Awards Anniversary Ceremony for no reason. At last, Kate Tsui was given the award. Even if Chung wins the nomination and makes it to the top of the Best Actress nominations, a lot of people were still upset that he wasn't being named in My Favorite Female Character role, and it was the second time for Chung to be the Non-official Best Actress. In addition, the public vote in Chung and Charmaine Sheh voted as the correct winner of the actress competitions.

Chung was leading other young actors and actresses like Jason Chan, Cilla Kung, Lin Xia Wei, and Calvin Chan in the series Missing You. Ram Chiang was the only senior actor on stage.

Since the award is purely based on public vote, Chung finally received her first Best Actress in "TVB Awards Ceremony 2013 Malaysia Star Ceremony." Chung earned the "Best Actress" award not only, but she also earned the My Favorite TV Role, becoming the first 1980s actress to win the "Best Actress" award.
