Liam O'Brien Career

Career

Although O'Brien has also voiced comedic characters such as Fukuyama in Girls Bravo, he confirms he frequently plays characters that are either mad or evil geniuses. Cumore from Tales of Vesperia is "slightly unhinged," he says. He portrays War as the lead character of the Apocalypse in Darksiders. He describes his voice as deeper than his normal voice, and that he portrayed War as a somewhat old soul who isn't surprised by the events around him. Red XIII was portrayed by actor Alan Watts in the video game Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. He has worked as a voice actor and writer on several video games and anime shows in addition to voice acting.

He is also a cast member of the popular web series Critical Role, in which he and other voice actors play Dungeons & Dragons. At the 2019 Webby Awards, Critical Role was both the Webby Award winner and the People's Voice winner in the "Games (Video Series & Channels) category; the show was also a Finalist and a Honor Winner; Audience Honor Winner. After being extremely popular, the Critical Role cast left the Geek & Sundry network in early 2019 and founded Critical Role Productions, the Critic Role cast. They set out to raise $750,000 on Kickstarter to produce an animated series of their first campaign, but instead, they raised over $11 million. In November 2019, Amazon Prime Video announced that they had purchased the streaming rights to this animated series, now titled The Legend of Vox Machina; O'Brien reprised his role as Vaindan. O'Brien appeared in Exandria Unlimited, a spinoff of Critical Role, in June 2021. O'Brien is also one of the narrators of the audiobook version of the novel Critical Role: Vox Machina (2021).

Amanda Hodgkinson, a fiction writer, followed her to America after a horrific ordeal that lasted for 15 years

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 17, 2023
Sarah Stovell, (left), was mistakenly convinced she was in a relationship with Amanda Hodgkinson (right). Ms Hodgkinson was bombarded with letters, messages, emails, and even followed Ms Hodgkinson to a book reading in America. Stovell has written that the author's husband would be "got rid of" because her companions were "posh idiots," and that Ms Hodgkinson's pet chickens would be destroyed. Despite the 'one-way' contact, Stovell believes Ms Hodgkinson did call her back - through 'cryptic' and 'coded' messages only she could comprehend on her internet channels, as the Newcastle Crown Court heard. Ms Hodgkinson, the mother of two, who made it clear that the feelings were not reciprocated, was left 'exhausted' and afraid she could be in danger.

At John Lewis' £14,000-per-year private school who made false expenses claims for luxury shopping vouchers, the Headmistress is denied probation

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 17, 2023
A former headmistress of a private school who fraudulently claimed expenses for luxury shopping vouchers worth nearly £3,000 has walked free. When Hillary French was the boss of Newcastle High School for Girls, she had violated her position by making the inaccurate estimates for spending at John Lewis' department store. She also claimed for meals out with former students, as well as the robbery of an expensive coat that was later discovered in her car. The 67-year-old's deceit began in 2016 when she was the head of a £45,000 a year private school in Newcastle's Jesmond district, a post she held between 2006 and 2018.

According to the Prime Minister, pandemic leave payments are going nowhere

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 13, 2022
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese (pictured below with his partner Jodie Haydon) has steadfastly stated that he favors the state and territory's effort to extend emergency pandemic leave payments beyond September's deadline. The payments have already been extended once more. A woman blowing her nose is shown on the right in a stock photograph.
