Leslie Ann Hope (born May 6, 1965) is a Canadian actress and producer best known for her role as Teri Bauer on Fox television series 24.
Personal life
Hope was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Ann and Frank Hope. Stephen is her brother. In 1982, she graduated from St. Michael's University School in Victoria, British Columbia. Hope worked with writer and actress Jamie Angell from 1994 to 1996, with whom she has a son named MacKenzie, and filmtographer, producer, and director Adam Kane from 2005 to 2015.
Career
Hope has appeared in numerous Canadian and American films as well as a television series. She appeared in Ups and Downs, a Canadian film made in Victoria in 1981, it was her first film role. She served as a crew member for 1982 and was involved in the film Love Streams.
Hope played Cammie Springer in Berrenger's 1985 television series. In 1987, she appeared in War and Remembrance, as Madeleine Henry. In 1993, she appeared in Paris, France, directed by Gerard Ciccoritti. Teri Bauer appeared in Teri Bauer's first season (1901–02), and she appeared in the role as the protagonist in the first season of 24 (2001–02).
