In April 2018, Lee was revealed that he was dating his Welcome to Waikiki co-star Jung In-sun. Lee Ki-woo's best friend Lee Ki-woo introduced the couple and they had been dating for a year before the news broke. However, the couple announced in June 2018 that they had broken up.

Career

Lee made his acting debut in 2011 and first gained acclaim in the teen drama School of 2013. Since then, he appeared in television dramas such as My Love from the Star (2013) and Descendants of the Sun (2016). Lee rose to fame after his comedic role in Confession Couple, and he was cast in his first major role in Welcome to Waikiki (2018). Lee's career was fruitful, as he also appeared in the critically acclaimed "Children of Nobody."

Lee has appeared in both independent and commercial films, including Leesong Hee-il's White Night (2012) and Kim Ki-duk's One on One (2014). In 2018, he appeared in two films: Monsters (also known as Wretches) about teenage bullying; and omnibus horror film Pension: Dangerous Encounter.

Lee's relationship with HB Entertainment was announced on March 8, 2022. After the expiration of Lee's employment with the original company, he joined Screening ENT on March 25, 2022.
