Career

Lee had an open heart surgery to repair his cardiac valve that did not function properly as a result of a heart disease as an infant.

Lee Jin-hyuk appeared in UP10TION's pre-debut program "Masked rookie king" in 2015. He was the 9th member to be welcomed to the club. He debuted as a member of UP1010TION under the stage name Wei. UP10TION held its debut showcase at AX Concert Hall in Seoul on September 9. Top Secret, UP10TION's debut mini album, which also includes the debut single "So Dangerous," was released on September 11, 2015.

He and fellow member Kim Woo-seok decided to take a break from UP10TION group membership and competed as a trainee on Produce X 101. He finished 11th in the program, but he did not make the final lineup of X1, due to the show's control of the X position. He came in 14th in the finale, according to official.

Lee held his first solo fan-meeting in Seoul, South Korea, on August 10, 2019, followed by fan-meetings in Thailand on September 15, 2019 and Taiwan on October 13, 2019. On December 14 and 21, respectively, he is also conducting fanmeetings in the Philippines and Macau.

Lee will make his solo debut on November 4, 2019, according to TOP Media. S.O.L.'s first extended play, as well as the title track's music video, "I Like It," was released. On November 4, 2019, he held his first solo debut showcase at KBS Arena, which was also shown live on Vlive.
