Lauren Alice Koslow (born March 9, 1953) is an American actress best known for her long-running role as Kate Roberts on the NBC dramatic series Days of Our Lives, which she has appeared on since 1996.
She appeared in the soaps The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as The Young and the Restless.

Koslow was born in Boston, where she spent the first years of her childhood.

In 1987, Koslow married makeup artist Nicky Schillace. They have three children.

Career
She began her acting career in touring theatre roles such as Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Dial M for Murder.
Koslow appeared on television in the mid-1980s as Lindsay Wells on CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, which she portrayed from 1984 to 1986. William J. Hill, the serial's designers' creators, then approached her. Bell and his partner Lee Phillip Bell will appear on the duo's latest sister soap The Bold and the Beautiful, which debuted in 1987. Margo Lynley, the serial's founder, appeared in the serial's beginnings until 1992, and later filmed a cameo flashback sequence as the protagonist in 2002.
Koslow busied appeared in several prime time shows, including Silk Stalkings and The Nanny, beginning in the 1990s. After Adair's departure from the series in February 1995, she returned to daytime television in 1996, replacing actress Deborah Adair on NBC soap Days of Our Lives.
On Days of Our Lives, Koslow assumed Adair's role as vindictive call girl turned corporate executive Kate Roberts.
