Nue (Naked), Fabian's fourth French album, was released in 2001 in both Québec and France. Nue is a record of her emotional roller coaster in the years after the previous album's success. Fabian's second live album, Live 2002 from her latest tour, was released in Belgium alongside a DVD showcasing concerts recorded in December 2001 in Belgium at the Forest National and Le Zénith in Paris.
All of her 2003 appearances at the Casino de Paris every Monday night consisted of concerts to small audiences, which were later released as a live CD and DVD at the end of 2003 under the banner En toute honneur.
Fabian released A Wonderful Life, her second English album, in June 2004.
The scheme was commercially ineffective, but it was highly lauded. The more organic sound on the album is credited to French guitarist Jean-Félix Lalanne and the British team True North, as well as French singer Gary Barlow and Elliot John Kennedy. Desmond Child's song "Review My Kisses" was the first song recorded by LeAnn Rimes in 2002 for her album Twisted Angel.
"The Last Goodbye" was the first single to be released on radio in the United States and a number of other countries (except France). The song "No Big Deal" by Francois Tull was the first single released in France. Neither of the songs and the album were commercialized, and its availability in the United States was suspended.
The song "I Guess I Loved You" (Her Own Destiny), a well-known Brazilian television series, reached moderate success in Brazil. For the same reason, the album gained a following in Portugal, though it was never officially announced or promoted.

In September 2010, she finally launched her 2009 album "Toutes Les Femmes En Moi" in Québec. With Canadian singer Coral Egan, she also recorded the album "Nuit Magique."
Mademoiselle Zhivago, a Fabian concept album that has sold over 800.000 copies in Russia, was released in Russia and Ukraine later in 2010. Igor Krutoy, a Russian composer, has 11 songs in various languages. It includes tales about a woman who has lived through the years and centuries. Eleven music videos, one per song, were mixed into a full-length film directed and directed by Ukrainian film producer Alan Badoev. The album itself, which includes a CD and a DVD, was first released in Ukraine in October 2010 and in Russia in November.
The entire collection of songs written by Fabian with Igor Krutoy is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian. "Demain n'exist pas" was her first appearance at the New Wave Festival in Latvia in 2009. Later in 2010, she returned to the same stage performing new songs from the recently concluded project. She has been supporting the campaign in both countries, on television and in the form of a series of concerts presenting the new songs live to the eastern European public. She has since established herself as a celebrity in Russia and Ukraine. Planned tour dates in early 2014 were cancelled and recording postponed, however Fabian recovered from ear damage. Mustafa Ceceli, a Turkish artist, was released in a duet in August. Anthony James and Yiorgos Bellapaisiotis' book "Make Me Yours Tonight" was released as an EP in English and Turkish versions ("Al Götür Beni") as well as in additional "acoustic" versions. The single's first collaboration with Belgian-US management and production firm Odacity saw her debut in Turkey's number one in physical single sales and position 2 in digital sales. Several remix versions of "Make Me Yours Tonight" were released in April 2015 as part of a new "Best of.") collection (released in 23 countries and as an EP (unknown worldwide). The EP debuted 12 in the iTunes France Dance Album charts and fifth in the iTunes Album Charts in Turkey, while Turkey's position 5 stood out at 5th position (album "Selection")
The names of the new performers at the 65th San Francisco Music Festival were revealed on December 14, 2014, during L'Arena, show host Massimo Giletti and guest Carlo Conti. Fabian was voted one of the top 20 artists in the "Big" (main) group. It was her second appearance on the Ariston stage (since her guest appeared on Gigi D'Alessio in 2007) and the first time a solo competitor. In several interviews, she devoted her success to her mother. Fabian titled the album "A hymn to lightness, to awe."
Fabian performed her new single "Voce" for the Italian market on Friday evening on February 10, 2015. It will be included in a new greatest hits album, Essential Lara Fabian, which was released in the country by Warner Italy.
A visibly moved Fabian performed on Ornella Vanoni's Italian version of her already famous "Je Suis Malade" on the evening of February 12, 2015. This was the night of the Sanmo subcommo; she later lost to Nek and his "Se telefonando" formerly popularized by Mina.
She performed "Voce" once more on the evening of February 13 before losing the entire tournament. Since the premiere, she had already been pending. Erika Cannoletta's article "Farewell to immigrants at San Remo" a local San Remo Festival newspaper said that a lack of meritocracy and obscure political issues backstage had influenced the artist's demise. The Italian audience and press were generally hostile towards Fabian, particularly in terms of her country's renowned celebrity. Who is Lara Fabian in a scathing and controversial article titled "Sanremo 2015?" Michele Monina (of Il Fatto Quotidiano), a writer and music critic, challenged the singer's fame, career, and quality, sparking a lively discussion in its comment section.
She appeared on Domenica In, Rai 1, for the last time on February 15, receiving a standing ovation. The singer will perform at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel, beginning from February 21, 2015.
Lara released her ninth studio album, Ma vie Dans La Tienne ("My Life In Yours"), in November 2015, which featured songs she co-wrote and co-composed with David Gategno and Elodie Hesme. The album, which was released under Warner Music France's licence, contained the singles "Quand je ne chante pas," "Ma vie dans la tienne," "L'oubli," and "Ton désir." The album was rated "Platinum" in France, Gold in Belgium, and has sold more than 150,000 copies around the world.
Fabian started working on a new English album, her 13th studio album, and with a Swedish-American music production crew, it was scheduled for release in 2017 under the title Camouflage. The album, which features 12 titles, was available for pre-order on August 4, 2017. On the same date, a first single, "Growing Wings," was released. "Choose What You Love Most (And Let It Kill You)" was the album's second single. On February 2, 2018, the Camouflage World Tour, produced by her current producer and boss Matt Ersin, began in Miami. She toured around the world, appearing in 40 countries, including in Paris in June 2018. Producer Matt Ersin's refusal to exclude "La Différence," which depicts photos of same-sex couples in the stage pictures, from the show's program, resulted in a legal quagmire with Russian authorities.
Fabian's new single, "Papillon," was announced in September 2018. Fabian, Moh Denebi, and Sharon Vaughn wrote this article. On October 5, 2018, the single was released. It's the first single from her fourteenth album, as well as titled Papillon, which was released on February 8, 2019. Lara Fabian started with a concert in New York on September 16, 2019 before heading to more than 20 venues around the United States, Russia, and Europe to promote the album's debut. The tour is celebrating her 50th birthday, three decades in the music industry, and over 30 million copies of her 14 studio albums have been sold. Fabian quit the consulting firm Odacity and producer/manager Matt Ersin, who had worked with the company since 2015. She then entrusted the coordination of the forthcoming "50 World Tour" to the Romanian company "ICT Agency" (International Creative Talents). Fabian and ICT were the reason for her cancellation of several concerts. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour's remaining dates were postponed.
Lara Fabian unveiled a series of 12 experimental tracks on December 16, 2020, the product of her reflection and loneliness in confinement. Lockdown Sessions came out in a limited edition without a logo and showcases the singer's journey, accompanied by Moh Denebi once more.
In 2021, she assumes the role as the head of a sixième saison de Star Académie on TVA.
She has appeared in a few films as an actress, most notably in the 2022 film Arlette.
