Kyle Greenwood (born March 1, 1987) is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor best known by the ring name Kyle O'Reilly.

He has joined WWE and appears on WWE's NXT brand.

He is a member of The Undisputed Age (alongside Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong).

He is the current NXT Tag Team Champion with Fish, and he is the only person in history to have won the championship three times. He is best known for his time with Ring of Honor (ROH).

He worked with New Japan Pro Wrestling and competed for many independent competitions, most notable Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

O'Reilly, a one-time ROH World Tag Team Champion, accompanied by Fish as reDRagon, is a PWG World Champion and the champion of the promotion's 2013 Battle of Los Angeles.

Personal life

Greenwood has type 1 diabetes. Bret Hart, Toshiaki Kawada, Royce Gracie, and Muhammad Ali are among his role models, according to him. Greenwood played in several sports, including amateur wrestling, ice hockey, football, lacrosse, kickboxing, Jiu-jitsu, and snowboarding, as well as briefly playing rugby in Europe. Kyle O'Reilly Career

Professional wrestling career

On December 23, 2005, O'Reilly appeared on the NWA: Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW)'s television tapings, where he and Tony Tisoy lost to Wrathchild and Killswitch. O'Reilly was in the tenth anniversary show of the ECCW in January 2006, competing with Fast Freddy Funk and Kurt Sterling to defeat Michelle Starr, Johnny Canuck, and Vance Nevada. On May 29, 2006, O'Reilly graduated from the House of Pain Wrestling School in the United Kingdom. O'Reilly pinned his trainer Aaron Idol to his trainer at the graduation show. He continued to appear in the ECCW during the remainder of 2006 and early 2007. O'Reilly started a feud with Sid Sylum in March 2007 before he teamed with Veronika Vice to defeat Sylum and Nikki Matthews in a mixed tag team match the following night. O'Reilly defeated Sylum in a "I Quit" match on March 30 to put an end to the feud.

In June 2007, O'Reilly qualified for the Pacific Cup tournament, where he met Tony Kozina and Scotty Mac in the final and was victorious. The NWA Canadian Junior Heavyweight Championship was won by O'Reilly on July 21, defeating Ice to win the NWA Canadian Junior Heavyweight Championship. He was denied the title back to Ice just six days later. Following month, O'Reilly won the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship for the second time, but then lost the match to Ice the next day. The match ended in a double pin in a rematch on August 24, causing the championship to be called off. As a result, O'Reilly and Ice played in a best of five tournament to determine the next champion. On November 16, O'Reilly defeated Ice in the first match of the season, but Ice won the second to tie the series at one point. O'Reilly won the third round, but Ice took the fourth, a street brawl. For the third time, O'Reilly defeated Ice in a Last Man Standing match on December 28, winning the championship for the third time.

For the second year in a row, O'Reilly attempted to win the Pacific Cup, but was unsuccessful. He defeated Halo and Azeem on their way to the final, a three-way elimination match against Billy Suede and El Phantasmo, but he was the first man to be disqualified. In April 2009, O'Reilly and 19 other wrestlers appeared in the ECCW's Wrestling With Hunger marathon, where he fought almost 40 matches in 72 hours to raise money for a local food bank.

O'Reilly defeated champion Billy Suede and Sylum in a three-way match for the NWA Canadian Heavyweight Championship on March 19, 2010. O'Reilly defeated Rick Sterling at Title vs. The name is a play on the word "title." On June 6, he qualified for the Pacific Cup tournament again, defeating Azeem and Suede en route to the final, where he lost to Artemis Spencer. On June 25, O'Reilly wrestled twice in a single night, defeating Ice and losing to Sylum in a match for the NWA Canadian Heavyweight Championship. In a two out of three falls match, which Pop Culture won, two girls fell to one, O'Reilly teamed with El Phantasmo to face Pop Culture on Friday night. O'Reilly lost to Tony Baroni on July 10, the tenacious explorer. In 2011, and 2014, O'Reilly returned to ECCW to compete in the Pacific Cup tournaments.

O'Reilly returned to the ECCW on January 14, 2017, defeating El Phantasmo for the ECCW Championship. He vacated the title 49 days later to ensure that ECCW would have a fighting champion as he figured out his future.

On May 30, 2008, O'Reilly made his Full Impact Pro (FIP) debut at the In Full Force show, where he lost to Damien Wayne. Johnny DeBall, a Southern Justice 2008 wrestler, appeared for FIP again the following night. When Davey Richards charged both opponents, the match came to a no contest. He returned to FIP in November 2009, competing with Tony Kozina on a Tag Team Rumble that was dominated by Bumz R' Us on Night 1 where he teamed with Tony Kozina.

O'Reilly appeared at the inaugural show of Evolve, where he defeated Bobby Fish on January 16, 2010. Hero vs. Hidaka, O'Reilly defeated Hallowicked, who was a replacement for an injured TJP. At Evolve 3: Rise or Fall, O'Reilly suffered his first defeat in the promotion. At Evolve 5: Danielson vs. Sawa, he lost his second match against Ricochet, giving him a record of two victories and two losses.

On November 28, 2009, O'Reilly competed at Dragon Gate USA (DGUSA)'s Open the Freedom Gate pay-per-view taping, where he defeated Adam Cole. O'Reilly won a six-way match on the pre-show before accompanying Davey Richards to the ring for his match at DGUSA Fearless pay-per-view. O'Reilly won the six pack competition in Milwaukee, which was won by Brodie Lee at a DGUSA in September 26, 2010.

O'Reilly participated in Chikara's Young Lions Cup tournament on August 28, 2010, but lost to Adam Cole in the quarter-finals.

In the first round of the Canada Leg, O'Reilly defeated Tyson Dux in the WCPW Pro Wrestling World Cup on May 26, 2017. In the Semi-Finals, Mike Bailey defeated O'Reilly. In May 2019, O'Reilly was a participant of the Progress Wrestling Super Strong Style 16 Tournament.

In 2009, O'Reilly made his Ring of Honor (ROH) debut. Tony Kozina defeated O'Reilly on November 13, 2009. On November 5, O'Reilly lost to Chris Hero on the December 21, 2009 episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling. O'Reilly defeated Tony Kozina at the tapings on Ring of Honor Wrestling on February 5, 2010. O'Reilly defeated Sampson on April 23, 2010 in Dayton, Ohio. Austin Aries, ROH World Champion Austin Aries, defeated O'Reilly on September 10, 2010. ROH announced that O'Reilly had agreed to a three-day deal with the organization.

O'Reilly then began to ally himself with fellow ROH newcomer Adam Cole, with the pair forming a tag team. They defeated Grizzly Redwood and Mike Sydal's team at the Ring of Honor Wrestling tapings on October 2nd. They lost to Steve Corino and Kevin Steen on October 15, as well as the All Night Express of Kenny King and Rhett Titus at a show on October 16. On the November 8 episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling, they defeated the Bravado Brothers (Lance and Harlem). On November 12, O'Reilly participated in the 2010 edition of the Survival of the Fittest tournament, but Kevin Steen was disqualified in the first round. The Bravado Brothers were defeated by O'Reilly and Cole in Toronto the following night. On December 18, O'Reilly made his ROH pay-per-view debut at Final Battle 2010, where the All Night Express defeated him and Cole (Rhett Titus and Kenny King). Despite putting on good performances, O'Reilly and Cole battled The Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark) and The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) in two losing battles on April 1 and Two at Chapter One and Two of Honor Takes Center Stage on April 1 and 2. The Bravado Brothers defeated O'Reilly and Cole in the ROH World Tag Team Championship on July 8, netting them with a future shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championship. O'Reilly had resigned with the ROH on July 25, according to ROH. Future Shock was a brand new name at the tapings of Ring of Honor Wrestling on August 13.

Ring of Honor Wrestling, Future Shock disbanded, and O'Reilly formed Team Ambition, opposite Adam Cole and Eddie Edwards, on January 7, 2012. Tony Kozina was also on the team outside of ROH, so it was also inclusive of him. Team Ambition was defeated in a main event tag team match between Cole and Edwards on March 4 at the 10th Anniversary Exhibition. O'Reilly shocked Cole and beat him on March 31 at Showdown in the Sun, using an underhanded tactic. O'Reilly was defeated by Cole in a "Hybrid Rules" match on June 24 at Best in the World 2012: Hostage Crisis. O'Reilly slapped Cole as he tried to make peace with his ex-wife and then announced that he was now headed after Richards, enforcing his heel turn.

In a losing bid, Doomsday, O'Reilly and Bobby Fish (formerly known as reDRagon) met the reformed The American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) on December 16 in a losing battle. On March 2, 2013, O'Reilly and Fish defeated the Briscoe Brothers in the ROH World Tag Team Championship at the following iPPV. Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander) and S.C. U.M. respectively won the championship against Alabama Attitude (Corey Hollis and Mike Posey), before retaining it at Best in the World 2013 in a three-way match against the C & C Wrestle Factory in June. (Cliff Compton and Rhett Titus) On July 27, the Forever Hooligans (Alex Koslov and Rocky Romero) lost the title, but the American Wolves regained the trophy on August 17. reDRagon successfully defended the championship over the next few months against teams including the C & C Wrestle Factory, the Forever Hooligans, and Michael Elgin. At the 12th Anniversary Exhibition in February 2014, they retained the title against Outlaw, Inc. (Homicide and Eddie Kingston) at Final Battle 2013 in December and Adrenaline Rush (A. C. H. and TaDarius Thomas). reDRagon lost the competition to The Young Bucks on March 8, 2014. On May 17, ReDRagon regained the tag team championship from The Young Bucks, while New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) co-promoted a pay-per-view war of the Worlds. On June 7, they successfully defended the championship against The Briscoe Brothers, Christopher Daniels, and Frankie Kazarian at ROH's first live pay-per-view Best in the World 2014, defeating ROH's first live pay-per-view Best in the World 2014. The Briscoes, ACH and Matt Sydal, The Addiction (Daniels and Kazarian), and The Briscoes won the ROH World Tag Team Championship and the Tag Wars tournament on November 23, 2007. They continued their triumph by winning title defenses against the Time Splitters (Alex Shelley and Kushida) at Final Battle 2014, The Young Bucks, and The Kingdom (Michael Bennett and Matt Taven), The Kingdom. On April 4, O'Reilly and Fish lost the tag team title to The Addiction at the Ring of Honor Wrestling tapings. On September 18, 2015, O'Reilly had a shot at the ROH World Championship but was defeated when Adam Cole turned on him.

O'Reilly returned to Death Before Dishonor XIV, killing Cole and notably interrupting Cole's victory celebration as the ROH World Champion by attacking him, reigniting their feud. For the first time, O'Reilly defeated Cole in the ROH World Championship Final Battle on December 2nd. O'Reilly's ROH deal came to an end on December 31. He was supposed to be considering his future options and working for ROH on a per-date basis until he reached a decision. At Cole's Wrestle Kingdom 11 in Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2017, O'Reilly lost the ROH World Championship back to Cole. O'Reilly was dropped from the ROH roster page and pulled from all forthcoming ROH appearances on January 11, 2017, indicating that his affiliation with Ring of Honor had come to an end, putting an 8-year service with the organization.

O'Reilly made his pro wrestling debut in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla on October 22, 2011 alongside regular tag teammate Adam Cole as Future Shock. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) were unsuccessfully beaten for the PWG World Tag Team Championship by the PWG World Tag Team Championship. Future Shocks were thrashes by the RockNES Monsters on December 10, Fear (Johnny Goodtime and Johnny Yuma). Future Shock entered the Dynamite Tag Team Championship Tournament (DDT4), where they advanced to the semifinals before losing to the eventual tournament winners, Super Smash Bros. Future Shock unsuccessfully challenged the Super Smash Bros. for the PWG World Tag Team Championship in a three-way ladder battle that also included The Young Bucks on July 21 at PWG's ninth anniversary celebration. Future Shocks qualified for the 2013 Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Championship Tournament on January 12, 2013. After defeating the DojoBros (Eddie Edwards and Roderick Strong) in their first round match, the team was barred from the tournament in semifinals by El Generico and Kevin Steen.

O'Reilly defeated Trent on August 30 in the 2013 Battle of Los Angeles. In his first round match, he defeated him in the first round. O'Reilly first defeated A. C. H. in the second round, then Drake Younger in the semifinals, and finally Michael Elgin in the finals to win the 2013 Battle of Los Angeles, held by his former Future Shock partner Adam Cole. On October 19, O'Reilly fired his title shot but Cole was disqualified by Cole, who was aided by Kevin Steen and The Young Bucks. On May 23, 2014, O'Reilly rematched the PWG World Championship in a "Knockout or Submission Only" match, beating Cole to become the new champion. O'Reilly made it to the semifinals of the 2014 Battle of Los Angeles in August, but was forced to pull out of the contest due to a storyline injury suffered by Roderick Strong. On December 12, O'Reilly defended the PWG World Championship against the 2014 Battle of Los Angeles champion Ricochet, only to lose the title to Strong in an impromptu Guerrilla Warfare match immediately afterward.

O'Reilly defeated Marty Scurll and the Young Bucks lost the reDRagon to The Young Bucks in the tag titles on March 4, 2016. O'Reilly was unable to win a PWG World Championship match against Zack Sabre Jr. on July 29, but lost. Mount Rushmore 2.0 (Adam Cole, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson) lost a six-man tag on September 2 by reDRagon and Dalton Castle. O'Reilly defeated Matthew Riddle in the 1st round of a tournament on September 3, but Mark Haskins lost in the quarterfinals. ReDRagon defeated Death By Elbow, Chris Hero and JT Dunn, December 16. O'Reilly lost to Michael Elgin on April 21, 2017. The Chosen Bros were then defeated by reDRagon on May 19, Jeff Cobb and Matthew Riddle.

reDRagon made a Japanese appearance on August 10 unsuccessfully suing Time Splitters (Alex Shelley and Kushida) for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, thanks to ROH's cooperation with NJPW. On October 25, reDRagon returned to NJPW to compete in the 2014 Super Jr. Tag Tournament. To win the tournament, reDRagon defeated The Young Bucks in the finals on November 3. ReDRagon defeated Time Splitters rematch in a rematch to become the new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions five days later in Power Struggle. They won their first title match at Wrestle Kingdom 9 in Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2015, against Forever Hooligans, Time Splitters, and The Young Bucks. ReDRagon lost the title to The Young Bucks in a three-way match, which also involved Time Splitters, on February 11 at The New Beginning in Osaka. ReDRagon returned to NJPW on May 3 in a three-way match against Roppongi Vice (Beretta and Rocky Romero) and The Young Bucks. O'Reilly also made the 2015 Best of the Super Juniors the following month. He won his block and advanced to the semifinals of the tournament after finishing with a record of six wins and one loss. Kushida defeated O'Reilly in the tournament's finals on June 7. Following the tournament, reDRagon was rematch for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, as well as Roppongi Vice, but The Young Bucks were defeated by The Young Bucks on July 5 in Osaka-jo Hall. For the second time, reDRagon defeated The Young Bucks to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. O'Reilly lost the ROH World Championship to Adam Cole at Wrestle Kingdom 11.

O'Reilly made his NXT debut on Saturday, the first time the franchise's NXT brand aired on August 12, 2017, losing to Aleister Black. Takeover: The NXT Takeover is a game that takes place in Brooklyn. After winning the NXT Tag Team Championship against The Authors of Pain, O'Reilly and Bobby Fish assaulted Sanity. Drew McIntyre, the newly crowned NXT champion, was then joined by Adam Cole, who turned heel in the process. The trio of O'Reilly, Cole, and Fish were officially dubbed The Undisputed Age by the following month.

O'Reilly and Fish defeated Tyler Bate and Trent Seven due to Adam Cole's interference. The Undisputed Age began on October 4 after Roderick Strong's match with Drew McIntyre, and Strong saluted Strong on the back. The Undisputed Era Armband was given to Roderick Strong on the October 25 episode, with Cole telling Strong that he is "not a loser" and offering him a role in their corporation. The Undisputed Age of Pain and SAnitY both suffered during their match, and it was revealed that The Undisputed Age would be present in the WarGames match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

Roderick Strong vs. Adam Cole was interrupted by O'Reilly and Fish on November 8 of NXT, resulting in a major brawl among the WarGames crews. The Undisputed Era of WarGames enthraigned SAnitY and the team of Roderick Strong and The Authors Of Pain won the first War Games match in over 17 years, defeating the first War Games match in over 17 years. O'Reilly and Fish defeated SAnitY to win the NXT Tag Team Championship on December 20 on NXT's December 20 episode. The Undisputed Age of NXT is back, and the writers of Pain were able to keep their titles. NXT Takeover: The Undisputed Age of NXT: The Undisputed Era of the NXT defeated Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne and The Authors of Pain to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic after Strong relied on his companion and entered the Undisputed Age.

At NXT Takeover: Chicago II, O'Reilly and Strong defeated Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch to hold the titles. O'Reilly and Strong lost the title to Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven), but then recovered them two days later. At NXT Takeover: O'Reilly and Strong defeated Moustache Mountain in their quest to keep the titles. Strong and O'Reilly were assaulted by the War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe) after the match. O'Reilly defeated Hanson on November 14 in NXT's Undisputed Age, bringing together a larger advantage in numbers in the WarGames match against NXT TakeOver: WarGames. The Undisputed Age, which culminated in Pete Dunne, Ricochet, and the War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe), was lost at the event. At NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, O'Reilly, and Strong lost the titles to The War Raiders due to the NXT's takeover. In a brutal four-way ladder match for the vacant NXT Tag Team Championship, the competition was decided by The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Steve Cutler), The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler), Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, and The Street Profits is a trademark of the University of Nevada. On August 10, Fish and O'Reilly followed The Street Profits for the NXT TakeOver: Toronto titles, but the champions were defeated once more. O'Reilly and Fish were eventually defeated by The Street Profits for the NXT Tag Team Championship on August 16, just six days after. O'Reilly and Fish will continue to hold the NXT Tag Team Championships for several months until they were robbed by the BroserWeights, a NXT Takeover: Portland on February 16, 2020. Following this, O'Reilly dropped appearing on television and only appeared in pre-taped segments as he refused to participate in the COVID-19 pandemic due to his diabetes disease. On the August 5 episode of NXT, where he and Fish unsuccessfully challenged Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

O'Reilly saved Jake Atlas from a beating at Tommaso Ciampa's hands on September 16, thereby changing face in the process. In the first-ever Gauntlet Eliminator match against Finn Bálor, O'Reilly defeated Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Kushida, and Timothy Thatcher, the top contender in the NXT Championship against Finn Bálor. O'Reilly was unsuccessful in winning the title at the time, despite being unable to win the title. Following the performance, O'Reilly and the remainder of The Undisputed Age of NXT would clash with The Kings of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Danny Burch, and Oney Lorcan). At NXT Takeover: WarGames, NXT General Manager William Regal will declare that Undisputed Age will face The Kings of NXT in a WarGames match. Undisputed Age will defeat The Kings of NXT at the game. O'Reilly defeated Dunne on December 16 of NXT, becoming the top contender for the NXT Championship at NXT: New Year's Evil. He was defeated once more on January 6, 2021, at NXT New Year's Evil.

The Undisputed Age, Finn Bálor's Toxte, Danny Burch, and Oney Lorcan were among the first people to oppose Pete Dunne, Danny Burch, and Oney Lorcan at NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day. Cole attacked Bálor, who posed in the ring. Cole's first kick was then shot by O'Reilly against Cole attacking Bálor attacking Bálor, the superkick to O'Reilly, implying the end of The Undisputed Age. Cole repeatedly assaulted O'Reilly during the six-man tag team match on the following episode of NXT. Cole finished off the steel steps with a brainbuster, causing O'Reilly to be stretchered out of ringside. Fans of the kayfabe injury speculated that O'Reilly had suffered a seizure. Via social media, a large number of followers and wrestlers expressed their admiration and annoyance for O'Reilly. Later that day, it was revealed that O'Reilly never had a seizure. During a NXT Championship match between Cole and Bálor, O'Reilly appeared on the March 11 episode and assaulted Cole. O'Reilly and Cole will enter a deal on March 24 to make their unsanctioned match at NXT Takeover: Official. O'Reilly will overthrowrown Cole at the tournament.

O'Reilly's father, Karrion Kross, began to challenge the NXT Championship shortly after, igniting a feud with the reigning champion. O'Reilly faced Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne in a triple threat match for a NXT Championship challenge at In Your House on June 1: After Cole returned and laid out all three guys, the game was a no contest. Kross would defend his title in a five-way match against O'Reilly, Cole, Gargano, and Dunne later that night. Kross kept his name at the event. After losing the championship, O'Reilly revived his rivalry with Cole, and a match between the two teams was called for The Great American Bash, where O'Reilly was defeated by Cole. He would continue to feud with Cole until he defeated him at NXT TakeOver 36, putting an end to the feud.

After his rivalry with Cole ended, O'Reilly and newcomer Von Wagner would work together to prevent a threat from Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland. O'Reilly and Wagner teamed up to defeat Dunne and Holland on October 12th episode of NXT 2.0. The NXT Tag Team Championship was announced shortly after and defeated Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza on November 30 to become the number one contenders. In a losing effort, O'Reilly and Wagner met the reigning champions Imperium, but O'Reilly and Wagner threatened to sue O'Reilly, but O'Reilly would counter his assault. O'Reilly appeared in a steel cage match on the following episode of NXT 2.0, but O'Reilly was defeated and after the match, O'Reilly will have his head smashet repeatedly with Wagner's steel cage door. This will be O'Reilly's last appearance in NXT after his WWE deal came to an end on December 10 and he did not renew it.

O'Reilly made his debut for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on December 22, 2021, defeating Orange Cassidy during Cole's match, establishing himself as a heel. Since O'Reilly fired Matt Jackson in the AEW Tag Team Championship at AEW on February 23, 2022 episode of Dynamite, reDRagon (O'Reilly and Fish) will win a 10-team battle royal to win a 10-team battle royal to earn a spot in the AEW Tag Team Championship at AEW. The match will be called off by ReDRagon. O'Reilly revealed on May 23, 2022, that he had signed a five-year contract with AEW. O'Reilly played in the Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament in May 2022 until he was eliminated by Samoa Joe in a semifinal match held on Dynamite on May 25. On the 8th episode of Dynamite, O'Reilly won a Casino Battle Royal to meet Jon Moxley in the show's main event, but he lost to Moxley. The Young Bucks were featured on the AEW Dynamite's episode on August 3rd.
