Personal life
Arianne Zucker, a co-star on Days of Our Lives, married him on August 3, 2002. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in December 2009. It was revealed that Lowder and Zucker had divorced in March 2014.
Career
Lowder appeared on Days of Our Lives, an NBC soap opera. Lowder appeared in the ninth season of Friends as himself in 2003. He received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for his work as Brady earlier this year. Following the soap's decision not to renew the actor's contract, it was announced in September 2005 that he would leave Days of Our Lives; he made his final appearance on September 15 of the same year.
Lowder was announced in December 2006 as Rick Forrester, succeeding actor Justin Torkildsen; he made his first appearance on January 25, 2007. He resigned from the soap in January 2011, citing it as a "mutual decision" between him and executive producer Brad Bell.
