Eduardo Kuno Becker Paz (born January 14, 1978), also known as Kuno Becker, has worked in telenovelas, Mexican cinema, and American cinema, but he is best known for his role as Ruben Berrizabal in Soadoras and Santiago Muez in the football film Goal! This collection includes sequels and spin-offs. Drew Ramos appeared on the American drama series Dallas as Drew Ramos.

Early years

After receiving a scholarship, he returned to Europe and began his studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, where he spent many years with Ruggiero Ricci.

Acting career

Kuno made the decision at seventeen to forego his career as a violinist in order to pursue what he now regards as his greatest passion, acting. He matched with more than 3,200 applicants and was accepted as a student at Televisa's Centro de Educación Artstica (CEA).

He appeared in the telenovela Para toda la vida (1996) at the age of nineteen, after two years of drama research. He appeared in Corazón, the telenovela Pueblo chico, directed by José Alberto Castro), El Alma no Tiene Color (directed by Lucero Suárez), Camila (directed by Angelli Nesma) and Sorro, his first lead and breakthrough role in 1997. Becker ceased firing the Telenovela Mujeres Engadas in April 2000.

Becker has appeared in a few theater productions in addition to his television appearances. His most recent theater performance was in 2008, when he appeared in and produced Martin McDonagh's critically acclaimed "The Pillowman."
