Kristaps Porzingis, the Boston Celtics' newly signed forward/center, has agreed to a two-year contract, extending the player's career to the 2025-26 season and ensuring he will make more than $96 million. The club did not disclose financial terms, but agents for the 2017-18 All-Star told ESPN that the two-year contract is worth $60 million. For the 2024-25 season, the extension began. In a three-team trade that culminated in guard Marcus Smart's release in Memphis, the Celtics acquired Porcini from the Washington Wizards last month.
