On the reality show The Return of Superman, he and his son appeared from January 2017 to May 2019.
Early life
Ko was a student at Seoul's kindergarten, and Kang Sung-hun and his g.o.d friend Son Ho-young were among his potential Sechs Kies bandmates. Since Kang left the United States to attend high school, he lost touch with him.
Personal life
On December 13, 2013, Kobben was married to Heo Yang-im, a professor of family medicine and a doctor. Ko Seung-jae, the couple's son, was born on October 6, 2014.
Career
When Kang recruited Kowon and his high school friend Eun Ji-won to join the boy band, they were forming. Sechs Kies was eventually established and debuted on April 15, 1997. Kobe was the second youngest member of the United Kingdom's second youngest citizen.
Until the time the company disbanded in 2000, he was much admired by fans for his handsome appearance and singing voice. Unlike other members, he did not continue his career as a solo artist, but he was made as a host in an internet broadcast and as an actor in a television drama. However, Kobe decided to leave the entertainment industry to begin his own business.
Eun Ji-won, a fellow Sechs Kines member and chief, appeared on Come to Play in 2008 and said he hadn't seen Kobe since the group's disbandement. On Happy Together in 2014, fellow vocalist Jang Su-won announced that he was in touch with Ko and revealed that he was running his own company.
Sechs Kies reunited in 2016 after disbandment in 2000 through the Infinite Challenge. By appearing at the reunion concert and performing their hit song "Couple," Ko, who had left the entertainment industry permanently after the disbandment to embark on a new career, surprised the members of SechsKy as well as all the followers. Sechs Kies gained more followers after the Infinite Challenge was broadcast; their hit songs also ranked high in music charts; and “Couple” was ranked in 11th place in the Music Bank. In May that year, the company officially reunited and signed a joint deal with YG Entertainment. Nevertheless, Kobe was the only one not to sign because he was the only one to completely depart from the entertainment industry.
For the first time in 16 years, Ko made a public appearance as a sponsor for a charity basketball tournament and conducted interviews with the media on July 18. Since appearing on Infinite Challenge, he said he is now living as a "half-celebrity." On November 30, it was announced that Ko and his son will be included in The Return of Superman's cast. Although he is unable to participate in current Sechs Kies group activities as a family man, he has pledged to "create opportunities to be with supporters" through activities he can partake." Also because he was unable to spend more time with his son, he hopes to have many memories with him through the program. Kobe and his son will be out of 'The Return of Superman' cast in May 2019.'
