Kirk Jel Randle (born August 20, 1989), better known by his stage name Kirko Bangz, is an American rapper, singer, guitarist, and record producer who has signed to Atlantic Records.

He is best known for his single "Drank in My Cup," which was released in 2011 and ranked 28 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and reached number 28.

Early life

Kirko Bangz was born in Houston, Texas, and he was named Kirk Jel Randle. Bangz began rapping at the age of 15, owing to his mother's struggle as a single parent; instead, he used his mother's grief as motivation. He graduated from North Shore High School in Houston and then transferred to Prairie View A&M University, where he will major in communications.

He was able to concentrate on his music at Prairie View in 2009, and Procrastination Kills was released in 2009. He attracted the attention of a fellow student and now boss D Will. Kurt Cobain's name is a play on late singer Kurt Cobain's name. "What Yo Name Iz?" Bangz' first official single, "What You Call?" On February 7, 2011. His first big hit actually started as a freestyle. It has since ranked at number 41 on the chart. Big Sean, Wale, and Bun B were among the artists who were inspired by a remix that was launched on June 24, 2011. Procrastination Kills 3 was released shortly after, on March 1, 2011.

On September 16, 2011, his second single, "Drank in My Cup," was released. The single debuted at number ninety-six on the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of February 25, 2012. It has since risen to number 28 on the charts and at number one on the Hot Rap Songs chart, and has been at number one on the Hot Rap Songs chart. J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Tyga, Bow Wow, Kid Ink, Chamillionaire, and singer Trey Songz appeared in many remixes and freestyles starring hip-hop artists. On September 4, 2012, Bangz released "Procrastination Kills 4", a new mixtape. On November 30, 2012, he released "Keep It Trill," his third single from his debut album "Keep It Trill."

Bangz will be a member of the XXL Magazine's 2013 Freshman Class, which was announced on March 26, 2013. Bigger Than Me will be the title of his debut album three days later. Bangz revealed on July 4, 2013, a mixtape that would debut on August 1, 2013, ahead of his debut album. He also revealed the inside of the mixtape. However, he would not announce that it would be postponed a week later. On August 12, 2013, the mixtape was announced. Wale, Nipsey Hussle, French Montana, Z-Ro, Paul Wall, YG, and Slim Thug were among others' guest appearances. K.E. handled the manufacturing process. Atlantic Records will debut his debut album in 2014. Kirko Bangz on The Trillest concert tour, co-led by frequent collaborator Bun B. from March 6 to April 17, 2014, he was on tour with legendary collaborator Bun B. Bangz released the Progression V: Young Texas Playa mixtape on December 16, 2014, which was mainly produced by Austinite Kydd Jones and Sound M.O.B. (Who produced Kirko's previous No. 1 is Doug Carter). "Drank in My Cup" was a hit on the Mixtape, which included Texas heavyweights Bun B and Riff Raff. Bangz has been linked to 300 Entertainment since July 21, 2015. Despite the fact that he released a few singles to promote his debut album Bigger Than Me, the album will go unreleased. Bangz revealed in an interview that some of his unreleased content is owned by Warner Music Group, thereby unable to release it. Bangz's first EP, entitled Fallin' Up Mix, was released on August 31, 2015. Bangz' second Extended Play, Playa Made, was released on February 19, 2016.
