Current career

Perdew is the Managing Partner of Moonshots Capital, an early-stage angel syndicate. He has personally invested in over 30 early-stage technology firms and has served as a board member or advisor to many, including LinkedIn and Pandora. He is the founder and CEO of TargetClose. Prior to founding TargetClose, he was the CEO of Fastpoint Games, a venture-backed leader in live data-driven games for the fortune 500 brand set. In December 2011, Fastpoint Games was sold to WePlay.

He served as President of ProElite.com, a social networking portal for mixed martial arts, long before Fastpoint Games. He was also the President of eTeamz, a venture by the founder Brian Johnson that now belongs to Active Network, LLC, and has over 3 million amateur sports teams.

On the Military Channel, Perpetuw filmed nine episodes of a show called G.I Factory, but it did not get a second series. He has also produced "Today's Military," which involved him accepting a "military challenge" from him. Perdew is the author of Take Command: Ten Leadership Principles Learned in the Military And Put to Work For Donald Trump (ISBN 1596980001) The book includes interviews with leading figures in industry and life, including Ross Perot, Bill Coleman, and Roger Staubach.

Perdew founded American Family Protection, Inc., which offers government-approved training courses to American families on how to react to a terrorist attack. The Terrorist Attack Survival Kit is a multimedia collection that was released on CD.

President George W. Bush named Perdew to the Council on Service and Civic Participation in June 2006.
