Kelly Mantle (born July 9, 1976) is an American actor, singer/songwriter, comedian, singer, musician, drag queen, and reality television celebrity.

On the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, a mantle appeared as a contestant.

Early life

Mantle was born in Oklahoma City but he grew up in Cordell, Oklahoma.

Mickey Mantle's uncle was a professional baseball player for the New York Yankees. Mantle earned his BFA in Theatre from the University of Oklahoma.

Kelly Mantle Career

Career

Mantle began as an actor in Chicago after college and began working as an actor. She appeared in plays including The Convention and Royal Flush. Lone Star & Bourbon was Mantle's first performance by OKRA Theatre, a theatre company founded by Mantle and her companion Tracy Parks, who directed the performance.

Mantle appeared in Charles Busch's play Vampire Lesbians of Sodom in Chicago in 1998. She migrated to Los Angeles after two years of being in Chicago. She then auditioned for Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, a Hollywood show where she was scouted and hired by a talent agent.

Mantle became a member of the band Sex with Lurch, which was formed by singer Robbie Quinne and guitarist Bernard Yin. Mantle used the stage name "Brandy Warhol" as part of the company. In December 2002, the group was disbanded. Mantle was a member of Quinne's successor band, the Barbarellatones, later in life.

Mantle was also a member of the Tranzkuntinental band. Charlie Paulson and Xander Smith formed the group, and it includes drag queens Detox, Rhea Litré, Vicky Vox, and Willam Belli.

Mantle is currently a member of the Rollz Royces with Tammie Brown and Michael Catti. In Tammie Brown's Christmas show Holiday Sparkle at Fubar in West Hollywood, Mantle and Catti have appeared.

In 2014, Mantle appeared in Confessions of a Womanizer, alongside Gary Busey. In 2016, the film was released. When the film's producers sought both assisting actor and supporting actress consideration for her role, Mantle, a genderfluid, made history. The Academy accepted her request.

On both seasons of OutTV and Amazon Prime sitcom The Browns co-starred Sheila, while in 2022, they tour Trixie and Katya Live.

Mantle was one of fourteen drag queens to compete in RuPaul's Drag Race's sixth season in December 2013. In the first episode, she was cut off from Express Yourself against Vivacious, a vivacious woman.
