Edward Mokolo Jr., better known by stage name Kaysha (born in Kinshasa on January 22, 1974), is a performer and producer.

He is the son of Congolese politician Edouard Mokolo Wa Mpombo.

Career

He was born in Kinshasa but with his parents at the age of seven, he emigrated to France. "Bounce Baby" was Kaysha's first album, which featured a sample from French West Indian band Kassav's Oulé.

"Telephone," Kaysha's second single off his album "I'm Ready." With a duo with Wu-Tang Clan's Killah Priest, he redesigned his entire look to record a more urban album titled Worldwidechico. One of his best hits on his album It's All Love's "On Dit quoi," was released on his own brand Sushiraw in 2003. "Love de toi," "One Love," "Question my heart," "Fiona," "Musiquarian," and many more are among his most popular songs.

Kaysha is also a music producer. He wrote songs for Passi, Solaar, Jacob Desvarieux, Soumia, Elizio, Ludo, Ludo, Vanda May, Aycee Jordanu, and others.
